  • Since I can't make a post about my question, I'll just put it here so people can actually answer:

So, long-story short, I'm in the dating scene and I noticed that I've been able to match with all kinds of amazing people... However, it was blatant to me that one demographic is avoiding me and I don't know why. That's Asian men.

I'm mixed. Heavily mixed, but it's obvious I'm black. I have Hispanic/Puerto Rican alongside Creole and Islander (suspected Trinidadian) blood.

I don't personally tend to even look at another's race especially when it comes to partner searching, but when I say Asian men seem to be purposefully avoiding me, I'm serious. There's been zero interest even though I'm also attracted to them as I am with many others. No likes sent, nothing.

Is it because I'm blatantly queer in this case? As I've heard from some of my friends who are different nationalities of Asian that it's due to most being more conservative. Or is it because I state that I won't have kids? I don't know. What have your experiences been compared to dating others? I know it's different for everyone, but I just find this strange.

  • I hate that we can’t join any subreddits based on any of the shows we like especially if they have non white characters but it always turns really racist really quickly

  • Seen a tiktok about the Coily Hair movement and im very into it!!

  • Why is my post removed under wrong flair? My flair was advice, and I was asking for advice. I like this sub because it feels less restrictive as others, that was disheartening to see.

    It's unfortunately getting much worse.
