Hmm. To put it into perspective. If all stats were equalized and you put seraph into the game as it was in year 2 of its release, she would easily kill hundreds of players without ever getting touched since the game was substantially slower and more counter based.
Old black desert was closer to a combo and fighting game.
The effects make it look more dumb than it is, for reference that fireball aoe looks massive but it’s so small in actual combat. I even asked a friend to stand still so i could aim near him and its not huge (and does less damage per target hit).
edit: only added this to further clarify I play with max effects on whereas most videos I see are the exact opposite. I literally just have the effects on for immersion and it exaggerates what’s actually happening
As time goes by the AOE just gets bigger and bigger. Soon it will be larger than the screen. You’ll only have to press one button to demolish the whole grind spot.
The AOE is generous, but I notice a lot of people play with effects off and I have them on max since I’m new and am enjoying my class’ aesthetic. Definitely makes it more grandiose than it actually is (as you see im not hitting the guy with half of them, but I have to improve so).
I really miss when classes in this game weren't just. "Spam big aoe and fly"
I have no recollection of that as I am new!

Thems where the days, I liked it
Seraph has one of the smallest aoe's in the game though
Are the effects just deceptively large?
Because Tamer, ninja, kuno, scholar, warrior, mystic, striker and many others visually have way way smaller than what's shown here.
I think you're confusing the OP (awakening dosa) with the seraph (the roach running away)
Yeesh. That's what dosa looks like now? That's so different than when I played it I mistook it for a new class. Holy power creep.

It’s definitely comparable to Mystic in terms of AoE range. Not better.

You jest but for a hot minute ranger reached that.
When the class rework first happened rangers arrow rain was clearing entire rotations of stars end in one move and with no cool down.
They had to nerf it like 6 times to stop it as well.
Yeah, except now it’ll be intentional, unfortunately. In an even more PA move the ability will be locked behind a $50 p2w item.
Tf is that aoe @@

not sure if this is rant or what? That guy knows how to disengage.
