Hi all, I just finished the season and graduated, the last 2 times I did this I got overwhelmed and left the game….

This time I’m really trying to figure out my next step, but there’s literally a million quests and I’m getting a bit lost…

I managed to complete the Magnus questline this time around though.

I’ve been trying to watch guides and use ChatGPT to figure out what I’m meant to do now.

Everywhere I look and when I ask ingame, I get told to do Jetinas quests to swap the tuvala gear with upgrade level V for some boss gear.

I already opened a chest full of boss gear I got from something in the past.

But apparently it’s a different upgrade system.

I managed to swap a tuvala sub weapon and now the only quests she has are to get some gems or stones?

I thought I would have to swap all my gear, but she only let me do it once.

Can someone please give me a pointer in the right direction? I enjoy the combat and like the open world sandbox aspects, but I need a bit of guidance as there’s so much gear and I feel a lot of it is outdated, as all I hear about is „boss armour, blackstar weapons and Tuvala“

Also are there any noob friendly guilds out there? I got a free boat too and I don’t even know what I should do with it haha.

You can get 1 free pen blackstar and tet blackstar from a box in the Y tab (if it doesn't let you claim the blackstar box, hover over the claim buttom and see what questlines it wants you to do) and another pen blackstar you get by making your tuvala weapon from seasonal go to dec. They are also giving more pen blackstars with olvia academy in 2 weeks for new players, you can make a sovereign weapon after that by combining the two pen blackstar weapons.

Search "BDO progression guide 2025/2026" on YouTube or Google it. Much faster than making a reddit post and you'll get structured and detailed info instead of info randomly scattered throughout replies.

If you wanna do quests just do main story quests. Doing all of them is important sadly, skipping them hinders your experience toward any endgame.

My friend is like 730gs and hasn’t done one of the major questlines being LOML. So he can’t use some important features because of it.

I’ve done the entire MSQ on 2 characters, it’s honestly not as bad as people make it out. I just do it and watch a video. I’m also a weirdo going for the 30k quest completion.

After that whatever your goal is you go for it. You can’t get overwhelmed because the game doesn’t tell you what to do. You do whatever you want. It’s a sandbox, you can rp for all I care and that would be good enough endgame. Figure out what you want then start that journey.
