We said goodbye to our wonderful Rosie today. She came to live with us 17 years ago, 2 years after being rescued by RSPCA.
She was the best cat I've ever known. It took her a while to trust, but once she did, she loved you deeply. She never bared her claws or bit anyone. She put up with 2 kids coming into her life (they've never known a home without her in it and are utterly broken), and looked after all of us whenever we were sad or unwell.

I lost my 15 and 18 year old cats this year so my heart goes out to you.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our void last spring. It was such a huge loss for our family. I still miss him every single day. Glad to hear you were able to provide her with a great life. Always keep that in mind. So many cats never get that opportunity.
