my cat loves her cat tree, every day around the same time she goes into the little cubby hole for a nice long nap and if she thinks someone is about to bug her she goes right in there for "protection" lol
I agree! Obviously do what you’re able to, but it may help the transition if kitty has even MORE/BETTER shit to play with. I say this every year but I think I’m going to try and spoil my kitties with trees and toys this coming year. I’d like to do a wall minted play center for them but I know the only way they’ll use it is if I’m around so it would have to me in the living room / kitchen area
Look and see if “Cat Tree King” is available in your local area! Hands down the BEST cat trees money can buy!! Good luck with your move, your baby will settle quicker than you think and it will be long forgotten. One of mine hid under the bed for two days and now she rules the roost! 😜
We put a thunder shirt on our black cat last time we moved. He instantly relaxed, it was amazing. Might be worth trying if you've still got more days of stress ahead for her.
I just moved back in with my mum and I left my cats at hers for a couple of weeks whilst I packed up (they know her house and cats well and have stayed here multiple times in the past with me). They were really not impressed with all of my stuff arriving! As soon as I unpacked some things and they could smell it was all their stuff though they were much happier:)
Cats have a routine, the routine is being disturbed. It will take a few days in the new place to have a new routine. At least everything in the new place will be familiar. If they have favorite sleeping spots, make sure those are still available. For my cats it's blankets on the back of the sectional.
Friends of mine picked up our old sofa 2 days ago and what a shit disturber it’s been for my 2 cats. Hopefully they’ll allow me to sleep more than 3 hours tonight.
My previous cat was extremely upset when I moved. We decided to leave her until the very end. But when we came to get her she had a terrified look that said, “you are leaving me!” It broke my heart to see her scared like this. Make sure you offer lots of comfort.
I think this happens to a lot of cats. They worry that when the rest of the colony moves on they’re going to be alone. I think female cats are particularly affected since cat colonies are matriarchal, so female cats really do not leave a colony. Males are used to moving colonies when they reach adulthood.
My mum tells the cat when she’s going to use the vacuum. The cat always sits in the wardrobe on her little cushion with the door open, but we know the noise scares her, so my mum goes “I’m just going to use the vacuum now,” and slides the door shut, then when she’s done she tells the cat she’s finished and opens the door again and gives scritches. If she doesn’t, kitty gets very upset.
When I moved into my current house I locked all of my cats (6 at the time) in what was their designated bedroom. I was afraid they would be freaked out and I wanted them to get familiar with the smells and sounds in one room then gradually introduce them into the house at large.
And this house is much larger than our previous one. I wanted to be able to keep track of them. And I had planned to make a video of their first impressions of the new house.
I slept on a mattress of the floor of my daughter’s room to help her adjust to the new sounds. We moved to a more rural location and foxes make some pretty freaky scary sounds!
Well the morning after the first night, I felt a cat touch me. At first I didn’t think anything of it but as I became fully awake I thought “Wait a minute, aren’t they supposed to be locked up?” I looked around and thought I saw a tail swoosh past the door. And sure enough one of the cats came frolicking in.
I jumped up and they were all running around so excited about THEIR new house. They heartily approved of the sunroom with all of the windows overlooking a tree full of birds and squirrels.
Eventually they met the local feral cat colony which I ended up TNR’ing. They became great friends with the ferals through the screen doors and eventually through winter “open door nights” when the ferals would come into the kitchen and warm up and socialize with my cats and warm up and then head out in the morning.
The last of the colony now lives among my cats indoors.
I love this 😭 my cat isn’t phased by new homes or locations at all. When I first got her as a kitten I tried keeping her in a separate room to acclimate but she refused and just wanted to explore. She hates car rides but lovveees exploring new places, I have to keep a hold of her at the vet to keep her from wandering into all the other patient rooms
My kitties were also so very sad when we were moving! I think just giving as much attention as you can is the best thing for sweet void. Hang in there!
Same here, end of September. We did plan around it to make them most comfortable. Our apartment company has a floor plan and 3D view, so we could create a game plan to keep them safe and as comfortable as possible. All their stuff in one room for a day to let the shock wear off. It's taken them a couple of months to get used to the new apartment, but having their stuff and us around certainly helps them know they're "home" even if in a new place.
We drove from Florida to Connecticut. It was definitely terrifying for them. I gave them treats and love. We will try feeding them a little bit tonight.
Cats know. I pulled the crate out to put one of my boys in it (he normally loves the crate and will get in when I need another cat to get into it). He instantly bolted behind the water heater and I literally spent two hours SINGING to him before he came out. Thankfully just as the movers arrived.
When I moved from my cheap post divorce from an abusive f@ck townhouse to my big old farm house, my big orange girl was around 12 years old. We moved the other three cats to the house, but we couldn’t find our Queen. After searching for hours, I found her terrified and hiding in my linen closet behind a box of linen. She was shaking with terror. She died in 2009 at the age of 20. I miss her still.
Poor thing. I remember moving to our new house as a child, our orange boy was so upset he wet himself in his carrier during the five minute drive between places and spent the night curled up in the bathroom sink, damp from his bath, wrapped in a towel! Kitties are troopers. She sounds like a beautiful baby, and I hope that for as scary as the moving process was for her, that she enjoyed her new place with you!!!
When I got a new bed I cleared my whole room out for a deep clean and my 19 year old who has moved a lot in her life was just sitting in the center of the room and she looked so defeated.
I had to pick her up and tell her we weren't moving anymore and she was safe.
Cats are very rooted in territory and routine, so seeing her natural territory crumble around them is terrifying for them.
Make sure in her new home she can get a place she recognizes and she can feel protected. From there she'll start exploring the new house and get back to normality.
We moved last year and my void felt the same way when packing stuff up! However when he got to the new house it became his jungle gym and he loved new adventures.
Beautiful baby! That face is so adorable! Moving is so traumatic for them sometimes. My orange boy stayed in his carrier for about 6 hours the day we brought him to the new house.
aw, poor thing. i moved recently and my baby was excited about all the stuff changing around the house and the new fun boxes—until it started looking bare.
she was nervous up until we moved into the new place—realizing i brought her with me and we brought all our favorite stuff was such a relief to her! i feel like she totally understood. just comfort her as much as you can and wait for her to realize you’re at a new place for good, im sure she’ll be okay 🩷 poor kitty! lots of treats recommended!
Does she like catnip? Put some on the bottom of her crate. Close the door to the room and if she does like catnip she’ll get in there eat it, roll on it . It’s like kitty Xanax with out the Xanax. 😉 Oh and keep her in the bathroom when you get to the new place until every one finished going in and out. It will also keep her from freaking out and trying to run out the house in an unfamiliar place. Hope your move goes smoothly as it can.🤞
We actually ended up bringing our cats over nearly last thing, and the one night we spent at the new house without them still gives me nightmares that we forgot them. They've all passed, but that irrational fear remains!
I’m actually very excited for her because we lived in a mobile home with windowsills that were only like an inch thick and the new house has big fat windowsills she can completely lay down on comfortably and look out!
Be sure and tell her she is going with you. When I've had a cat move into a new house we put them in a small room and let them build their map for a while before gradually exposing them to the rest of the house.
Sorry, I didn't mean you would ditch her or anything like that. My wife and stayed in a house for a couple of months before moving into new place. My cat hated th r temporary spot, we didn't move any of our furniture or anything into it. But when we took our girl in the new place she immediately acted at home.
I’m glad she liked the new place and that was smooth! That’s pretty much how she did she came out of the crate and immediately started exploring and was fine! ❤️
I was so worried for my void when we moved to a different state but she blossomed! We didn't have a yard before and now we do, she loves to lay in the grass, under the shadow of a small tree and nap or watch the birds, she plays a lot more, she explores.
I have two voids and am moving today. They're big angry at me, I feel your pain. I hope your move goes smoothly and we're both forgiven soon!!! ❣️🐈⬛🐈⬛
Dawww poor baby. I’ve moved apartments very often with cats and they’ll be okay. My older cat isn’t even phased anymore, she always knows when we’re moving now. Keep them in a separate room with their basic needs while you move your larger items (a bathroom is fine) and keep their favorite items with them along with some things that smell like you. Extra treats and TLC is good too. I always move my cats last so they don’t have to deal with more moving of items and can just focus on acclimating. Some cats might appreciate being confined to one room for a short while before exploring the rest of the place. She’s a bit confused right now, just keep reassuring her! My younger cat only kept to our bedroom during our last move but he gradually expanded his range over a week or so.
Hopefully you have her in a room that doesn't have a lot of activity going on if she is upset. I would put all her food, water. litter box, toys, blankets, carrier in there and let her decompress while you do everything else outside that room. I moved a lot with my cat, and this is the way to go. When you get to the other end, do the same thing. Good luck. She's adorable!
Try presenting things to her to sniff. Just hold stuff up to her face gently. They experience the world through their nose. Once she's done sniffing move it wherever. It's like an approval process to give her some control.
This was my poor void when I put up the Christmas tree! Just staring at me moving furniture and putting a massive tree with lights in the living room like WTF is happening!!!
My void had been abandoned during a move (what the rescue told us) and we didn’t realize how much it upset her until we moved with her 5 years later. Just the sight of the moving boxes made her upset.
Man, my cats hated moving, it was hard to watch, they were terrified. Did everything right, but they still freaked out. The worst part was the first night there the AC died, and my one girl freaked out so bad she was panting and trying to get out of the window. Like she was blazing hot, scared and was terrified. Had to give her an ice cube rubdown which eventually calmed her down and cooled her off. 2 days later they’re fine and own the place. Their home base is my room, so that kept them calmer knowing I was there, even though the space was new.
Little dude will be good, just give them all the love.
Part of me feels like such a fool to feel so happy looking at cute cat pics but I just can't help it. The expression is so human like, love the little curled up paw.
Once every six months or so, my mother would decide to rearrange the living room. Well, she directed while we moved furniture. Our void, Harry, would sit in the doorway with her ears flat, and slinking from room to room for days after.
Yes, her name was Harry. It was quite a shock when (s)he got pregnant
She's getting her world upended. Make sure that the catbox is out first and she knows where it is. Cats will sit in it for familiarity and the scent. Ours couldn't find it after a move and left a surprise on the bed. Once they did, everything worked out.
Cats are always judging us. 🤣 But seriously, give her plenty of treats and love, so she hopefully understands that it'll be okay.
Every cat is different. Some adapt super quickly, others take days or even weeks. We moved earlier this year and we were worried how our void was gonna adapt as we moving into a house, which was much bigger than our apartment.
He really didn't give a single fuck about us packing until we had to crate him while the movers were moving our stuff. He was pretty upset and was constantly meowing to let him out.
Him and my husband got to the house first, so he was temporarily closed into one of the spare bedrooms until the movers were done. We made sure to be extremely clear to the movers to NOT open that door to that room at all.
That whole time, he really wanted to get out and was batting at the door and meowing most of the time too. We were thinking that he'd have to be in there for a few days.
However... As soon as we opened the door so he could leave, he immediately walked out and started exploring the house. 🤣 No hesitation. Not even a day to adjust to the new place.
He's a very odd cat. Chillest cat I've ever met and has only chilled out further with age.
We recently had to leave our house for 2 days and despite having her creature comforts and humans with her, our cat had the worst time at the hotel. It was a lot of hiding, meowing, and 2 sleepless nights for everyone. I dread the day we move again
As soon as the activity level ramps up in my house the cats start zooming around -doesn’t matter what the reason is. It’s like that energy instantly gets transmitted to them. I can’t even imagine what they would do if we moved!
We're redecorating our bedroom and my cats are so upset by all the upheaval in the house just from that that they're doing weird stuff like shitting on the floor and pissing in the bath.
They get easily upset by big changes in their home environments. Have you been using the feliway spray?
Cats do not like to move . I realized that when I moved fairly recently they his in the new house for about a week 🐈⬛😔They are now as happy as ever once they got used to it. When moving the boxes terrified them. 🤷🏻♀️
Aww, poor baby! My boy survived a cross country drive last month, and he acted the same way. He would also walk around looking at everything and mewling 🥲
He's much, much happier in the new place, though 🥰
I recommend wet food during the move itself to keep her hydrated. Also, you can give her human Dramamine at a kitty dose to prevent travel sickness.
Edit: The thing that helped most was probably his backpack carrier! We have a really good one that folds out, straps in, ect., that we got him a month or so before the drive.
When we leave it unfolded, he treats it like a little dog crate and hangs out in there when he wants privacy. For travel, it gets folded up into a smaller backpack. We took him to the park (and even camping) with it beforehand to get him used to it.
So we got him used to the idea that the backpack 'open' means 'a safe spot to chill and be left alone', and 'closed' (plus putting his harness on) means 'excitement ahead'..
What a beauty! She will make you suffer for a while. Do keep a close eye on her after your move, though. If she should happen to slip outside, she may be confused. That face though! I want that on a shirt!
I don't know if it was a good or bad idea but we boarded our boys for a night when moving so they wouldn't freak out while we packed. Hopefully we won't have to move anymore now that we bought but man it was stressful no matter which way we would have done it.
Ive heard that when you are planning a trip, leaving for a period of time, moving, etc. It's good to talk to your cats (pets), explaining what happening because they understand you!
Cats are territorial creatures. You're messing with their territory. That's why you're going to get the look of death until they feel more settled in their new space. Good news is they do like having a new space because it enriches them.
Went to your profile and saw you have cats, I hope they’re all doing well under your “care”, if you even care at all. People with this attitude should never own pets. However I did notice you stopped posting them about 2 years ago after getting a kitten, did you end up moving houses around that time? Just wondering if you abandoned them like you’re suggesting OP does.
i cannot believe this

Record scratch
You’re probably wondering how I got into this mess..
His expression seems to be very sad.
With the little shoulders and the paws.
Poor baby! It must be terrifying not knowing what’s happening around her. She deserves extra treats this week😄
I went out and got her both regular and catnip treats and we feel so guilty we are thinking about going and getting her a cat tree for the new house 😭
You should! She needs a new safe space of her own, too! 🥰
my cat loves her cat tree, every day around the same time she goes into the little cubby hole for a nice long nap and if she thinks someone is about to bug her she goes right in there for "protection" lol
She sounds like my soul cat
Is like kids... does my stuff go? Ok, we go. I usually pack pet stuff last and then set them up first in the new place.
Look and see if “Cat Tree King” is available in your local area! Hands down the BEST cat trees money can buy!! Good luck with your move, your baby will settle quicker than you think and it will be long forgotten. One of mine hid under the bed for two days and now she rules the roost! 😜
Free shipping?!? Awesome!
We put a thunder shirt on our black cat last time we moved. He instantly relaxed, it was amazing. Might be worth trying if you've still got more days of stress ahead for her.
cats hate change
Me too
It's true. Am cat
For my cats it's blankets on the back of the sectional.
seriously, we moved our cat tree like 6 feet, in May. one of our boys just recently started climbing on it again.
Friends of mine picked up our old sofa 2 days ago and what a shit disturber it’s been for my 2 cats. Hopefully they’ll allow me to sleep more than 3 hours tonight.
Mine requires a lengthy approval process before any changes. Lots of paperwork
As a German, this sounds familiar to me. Are we secretly cats?
Yup they really hate moving
Mom!!! Why are you taking away all my stuff?? Are you getting rid of me? I don't like the way this is going!
No no, this is a void.
Void is wondering why his renters are moving out. Void doesn't want new renters, he's used to the ones he has, and will be very upset to see them go.
I disagree, this is clearly baby. He may be a void, but he is baby. Lol
My void had some issues with moving. She was so scared the first week that she slept beside my head and would yowl during the night 😢
My previous cat was extremely upset when I moved. We decided to leave her until the very end. But when we came to get her she had a terrified look that said, “you are leaving me!” It broke my heart to see her scared like this. Make sure you offer lots of comfort.

Poor kitty, it must be so disorienting for them bless every cat slave who tries to ease the transition

“maybe we could work something out”
Why are we moving out of my house. I didn't approve of this nonsense.
My void gets wound up when I break out the packing tape. Thankfully, he calms down pretty quickly, though that doesn't stop his complaining.
Ours freaks out when we get out suitcases
All of our cats over time have used open luggage as new beds. They know and are protesting any way they can.
Last time I moved, my void figured out she could jump into the 5ft Home Depot boxes. I was terrified I'd accidentally pack her in.
My wife always talks to our cat before any major event like vet visits. They become calmer and definitely understand if you tell them lol it’s weird
The things we have to do for these cats is too crazy like who do they think they are! This is so funny, also what were you singing😂

Oh. She did. She lived there for 9 years after we moved. She had way more room to play and new neighbors to meet.
Poor baby moving sucks for everyone! Feliway plugs helped mine with the change when I moved.
Maybe ask your vet about gabapentin for a little while to help with the stress.

Oh I love your fluffy boy! My cat also laid on her fair share of boxes

UPDATE: she’s good yall we got moved and she did great and is loafing already! I can’t wait to finish reading the comments I love cat people lol
Make this a sticky :) 🐈⬛

He’s giving this energy. Cute but angry.
This is very much her a lot of the time lol
Big changes for her
OMG she is hella cute 😻
They are not amused and are slightly Disturbed!
Give them any pets and treats!
My stuuuuufffff
We moved last year and my void felt the same way when packing stuff up! However when he got to the new house it became his jungle gym and he loved new adventures.
Beautiful baby! That face is so adorable! Moving is so traumatic for them sometimes. My orange boy stayed in his carrier for about 6 hours the day we brought him to the new house.
I did this once, we had to move her favourite chair. I woke up to her sleeping in its spot on the floor...
Cats hate change
It is important they don't escape while this is going on...they may not come back
We moved across the US earlier this year with our 3 cats 😅
They were surprisingly good the whole drive, but the lead up to was not pleasant lol and also adjusting to the new place.
Overall though, they are very happy now. They get much better cat tv with a big sliding door and patio, and mom and dad are much happier as well.
Moves are always hard, but hopefully worth it! Good luck!
aw, poor thing. i moved recently and my baby was excited about all the stuff changing around the house and the new fun boxes—until it started looking bare.

This is exactly what happened with her! 🥰 thank you for the words of encouragement she did so great!
aaaaaaa i’m so so glad!!!!! sending a million kisses for your sweet baby, she must love and trust you a lot 🩷
You should pack some of her belongings too so that she knows she is going with you. She is very anxious that she id being abandoned
"what are you doing to my castle"
Does she like catnip? Put some on the bottom of her crate. Close the door to the room and if she does like catnip she’ll get in there eat it, roll on it . She looks like she needs a drink hahah gorgeous girl!!
Same girl 😭
We actually ended up bringing our cats over nearly last thing, and the one night we spent at the new house without them still gives me nightmares that we forgot them. They've all passed, but that irrational fear remains!
Aw. Little uncertain sweetie. Congratulations. I hope your new home is appropriately appointed with window seats & interesting vistas for you both!
I’m actually very excited for her because we lived in a mobile home with windowsills that were only like an inch thick and the new house has big fat windowsills she can completely lay down on comfortably and look out!
How wonderful! Excited for you both! Wishing you the very best in the move with much comfort and happiness in settling in!
Be sure and tell her she is going with you. When I've had a cat move into a new house we put them in a small room and let them build their map for a while before gradually exposing them to the rest of the house.
You better get to catifying that new house ASAP!
Right? It’s like, how dare they disrupt our vibe! Clearly, the humans need some serious cat education on priorities!!
I’m sorry but her face is hilarious lmaoooooo
"You're.... You're gonna take me too, right?" - sad kitty
Cats HATE change.
hahaha I’m sorry, she is too cute
Is she going to the new place and your (Her) stuff will be there?
YES I’d never leave her! All her favorite chairs and blankets are coming as well
Sorry, I didn't mean you would ditch her or anything like that. My wife and stayed in a house for a couple of months before moving into new place. I was so worried for my void when we moved to a different state but she blossomed! We didn't have a yard before and now we do, she loves to lay in the grass, under the shadow of a small tree and nap or watch the birds, she plays a lot more, she explores.
Good luck with your move!
I have two voids and am moving today. They're big angry at me, I feel your pain. I hope your move goes smoothly and we're both forgiven soon!!! ❣️🐈⬛🐈⬛
I hope so for you as well good luck! ❤️
I know, kitty, I hate moving, too.
She is so adorable. She’s giving a cute little side eye to all of the commotion.
Good luck with the move!
She thinks she might left behind
Grump Face
You’re goona take me with you right?
I love it when they look so disturbed 😂
You’ve got evey right to be suspicious! Who needs a new place when you have all your stuff here.
Those cheeks looking pretty squishable
Poor kitty! Moving can be stressful for pets. Give that sweet baby extra cuddles! 🥺
My Void stared at me like that daily (until I gave her wet food) so I wouldn't be too worried.
The new place though - that's a rough adjustment period so I wish you both an easy transition.
Oh no :(.
Try presenting things to her to sniff. Just hold stuff up to her face gently. They experience the world through their nose. Once she's done sniffing move it wherever. It's like an approval process to give her some control.
Ours sulk whenever we have a move around - we shampooed carpets in lounge and dining room a few months ago and they were soooo cross!!
Let her watch you pack a few of her toys in a box and leave it open by other stuff that’s packed. She’s afraid you aren’t taking her with you.
mine is in the ER because the stress caused his urethra to clog shut -_-
Poor thing 😭 I hope he gets better soon!!
The face is giving ".....maaan....this is bullshit"
World. Rocked.
Poor panther 😭
Poor baby looks so stressed 😭 she’s like ‘why is my whole world disappearing??’ Hope she settles in quick once you’re in the new place
"mother, are we poor now?"
“Unfortunately, yes.”
🤣🤣🤣
Somebody please explain to this precious baby that she is coming to the new house too and the chaos is only temporary. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Well, do you have her permission to move? DO YOU??
You keep filling up my boxes. Grrrr
That baby. Omg. I love her.
I've been wondering about this since I'm about to do the same in a few weeks.
I wish I could cuddle him but knowing cats, they probably wouldn't like that lol
Wow cute cat
We're redecorating our bedroom and my cats are so upset by all the upheaval in the house just from that that they're doing weird stuff like shitting on the floor and pissing in the bath.
They get easily upset by big changes in their home environments. Have you been using the feliway spray?
r/angrycatpics would love this! Very cute kitty
Aww, she’s probably confused about what’s happening. Maybe give her some extra attention to reassure her. 😺
Did you tell her you’re moving or just surprise her?
Aww poor baby!
mr. Salem Saberhagen looks awesome
Cats do not like to move . I realized that when I moved fairly recently they his in the new house for about a week 🐈⬛😔They are now as happy as ever once they got used to it. When moving the boxes terrified them. 🤷🏻♀️
:<
Awww!! Poor baby girl, but her face is so iconic!!!

I want that on a shirt!
so adorable
I have had to move three times this year. My poor ten year old baby. She does ok tho- she seems to get used to the place faster than I do lol
She KNOWS
Extra pets, love and kissies, and squeezies. She may not understand what's happening, but she will know you love her
I don't know if it was a good or bad idea but we boarded our boys for a night when moving so they wouldn't freak out while we packed. Hopefully we won't have to move anymore now that we bought but man it was stressful no matter which way we would have done it.
how your cat looking at you rn 🤣
Black cats are habitual AF Sending hugs to this beauty
Ive heard that when you are planning a trip, leaving for a period of time, moving, etc. It's good to talk to your cats (pets), explaining what happening because they understand you!
My baby will soon be put through this ;( Moving sucks for us hoomans, I can only imagine what it's like for our feline rulers.
Your cat reminds me of Salem in this picture
She actually looks like Salem so often I comment on it all the time!
What's going on? What's happening? Just tell me.
Scrolling quickly I thought you had a 2nd black cat, but that's just a shirt or something laying right on top of the drawer handle.
Literally :<
When my sister moved, her poor cat hid behind the shower curtain.
Treats are the answer
We rearranged the living room once for a new sectional couch and moved a cabinet in to a different corner.
My cat spent days howling at the empty corner.
She will be salty for a while after the move too. Give her time and she'll come around!
Cats are territorial creatures. You're messing with their territory. That's why you're going to get the look of death until they feel more settled in their new space. Good news is they do like having a new space because it enriches them.
She looks so confused and just wants things back to normal.
Such a cute grumpy face though 😭
She IS coming with you right?
Aclpzp
Oh no poor little thing! Our cats get so used to routine that things like this really mess them up.
This is awful
She's hoping to god you're going to take her with you
Cats seem to have this overwhelming fear that their people will move and not take them along.
I love my black cats
They are nawttt having it🤣🤣
« You’re not leaving me here all alone? »
Ask her to pay rent. She will get over it.
Aww that little pout
Cats love routine and don’t like surprises. It stresses them when things change suddenly.
Me all the time!
My cat was a nomad. He quickly adapted to any new place we moved to like we had been living there for years lol
Awwwww
Leave her in the old place.
wtf is WRONG with you
My meds aren’t working.
She's probably terrified that this might happen to her. Because some people are awful and don't think a pet is any more of a commitment than a scarf.
They all perished. Had to abandoned them when my ship fell out of hyper drive. Got 6 cats now.
