Nah, he wasn't even really slowing down at the traffic light, despite it being solidly red. Just a moron.
There's a law in Russia that you can technically pass on red if it's just turned on and stopping might cause a crash. A lot of morons claim it when they're fined.
We have yellow phase, by the looks of it he might really badly underestimated his braking OR was trying to go through on really orange yellow (you can see, pedestrian lights changing only after he go past stop lane, so that would mean red light only turn out on him, when he cross the line)
edit: yeah he tried to get through on the yellow, but not expected car on right to start that quickly
If you look closely, when the light turned yellow he did try to brake for a split second but decided to run it instead.
I’m guessing there’s no delayed green setup in this intersection either, so that car immediately went across the moment the light for the bus turned red.
That bus driver is a miracle worker XD
A shit miracle worker, since he ran a red light, but still
Looks like the driver underestimated the stopping distance.

Do they not have a yellow light? That's what the yellow phase is for!

Going on yellow still is technically the same as going on red, just with a bit more leeway

Sleigh bus was almost a Slay bus.
Once I was sitting in a full size public bus and the driver did a U turn drifting in the snow. 40ft bus or something.
It's a j turn.
J-turn starts in reverse. This one is skid/spin U-turn, or bootleg/bootlegger's turn.
You're right. I completely forgot the most important step of a j turn.
J turns are a blast
