Woke up to find this beautiful little stellar jay in my backyard today. He's been hopping around and only gliding short distances, generally staying in the same area. I want to know if I should try contacting a local rehabber or if he's just taking his time learning to fly? He's stuck around for 3-5 hours.

This time of year definitely old enough to fly. Please catch this guy and get in contact with a licensed wildlife rehabber!
