They can go 2 blocks north and have a whole urban forest! But I saw several (hmmm what’s the word) flocks flying around the area. Perks of being on a hill. But we got heavy fog this afternoon, wonder if they were moving away from it or getting food quickly before it was too damp for them to fly. It was very wet air.
I live in the midwest and no one is spraying their yards but it has been unusually warm here and possibly bugs coming up to enjoy the 60 degree weather.

I'll bet thats it then, grubs are super high in protein for birds and a choice selection for most so your yard was probably like a Benihanas for them lmfao

Maybe your neighbors sprayed pesticide on their lawns, and killed every living organism in the soil, including the things birds eat?
Your lawncare brings all the birds to the yard.
They are eating invertebrates in the soil. You seem to have a healthy ecosystem, congratulations.
Yeah I keep things natural and as wild possible since a lot of my neighbors like to fight with who has more stale boring grass in their yard.
They are using the limited amount of wild space

It's a death cult :)
I would tend to believe this as you can see the neighbor's yard just looks different.

She was just so determined that a bird would never attack a person.
You probably have wormy or grubby soil and they're feasting lol
I do find a ton of grubs digging around and the temps have been very warm where I live. Kinda bummed because we need a flea and tick die off

You're being haunted by the ghost of Alfred Hitchcock
This was my first thought. Hitchcocks movies haunted me as a kid.
Or if you’re a Schitt’s Creek fan, maybe this could be the start of a spinoff of Moira’s film…
