This is so helpful to see up close! I always see them do this when they fly away with a fully shelled peanut into a tree. I didn't know that the actual peanut kind of sits in the shell until they eat it.

Whenever I see a jay doing this I wonder if they ever screw up and peck their own toe 🤔
