You know I think I just realized that is like the only place you don't go in MNOG II (there are others but they're all labeled as part of a wahi). Interested if someone has an answer to this question
This is why the 2002 sweepstakes was so difficult for me as a child “where will the 7th toa be found”. I was so adamant it would be in one of the unexplored ga-wahi or po-wahi regions
Anyway, I think you're right, but it's odd. It makes more sense if the Old Fusa Path is on the other side of Naho Bay based on the three branching paths to the other Wahis (Ko to the left, Onu in front, Po to the right with no Onu-wahi or Ko-wahi that you need to cross over to get to Po-wahi, which would be required if it's that southern area), but that also doesn't make sense because of how close Ga-koro is to the southern side here. The game is clearly looking out to Naho Bay beyond Hahli's house. I think you have to be right, and the Old Fusa Path in the game loses some of the Onu and Ko color that's present on this map
Kini-Nui has various depictions and locations. Ghost and Miramax media feature the giant stone head, while Templar doesn't. Canonically it's west of the Mangai, but in Mata Nui Explorer it's north-east.
I always assumed the whole light-green region is called Ga-Wahi.
Perhaps
Yeah I think that counts as Ga-Wahi as well.

Isn't that this treeless meadows area that you get to straight from Ga-Koro's Old Fusa Path?

Now when you mention it, the branching would indicate northern side of the Bay but maybe their design was a bit vague there.
Also downvote is not from me!
Oops ok, I deleted that part of the comment. Sorry!!!
I think this is another example of, no matter how much I love MNOG II, they did take some liberties lol
That is beyond our borders, Simba. You must never go there.
Might be that huge plain you can visit in Mata Nui Online game 2 when leaving Ga-Wahi
Potentially so
The wahi boundaries arent realy all that defined. Its either most likely southern ga wahi or split between ga and ta Wahl
Fair point
It's news to me that the Kini-nui isn't there, but isn't atleast the entrance to Mangaia there?
Good question

Ah, that's the reason for the confusion. Thanks for clarifying.
I thought Ta-Koro was closer to the volcano
It does feel like it should be. If I remember correctly, in MNOG1 you could go from Ta-Koro to Ko-Wahi using a cable line.
Isn't that the Ga-Wahi lily pads?
No that is clearly land
The lily pads are in Naho bay (not seen in the map due to scale)
