Brother and I got a 3d printer and are having fun coming up with ideas but we have our current take on a sidorak movie style mask. Still working on the details but will share more when ready. Enjoy the lightly modified sid!
Thanks, sorry for the late reply. Yeah its a Bambu A1 and im using the .2mm nozzle. Its got some work to go through but hoping to do more with it soon.
Honestly if you aren’t taking it apart or moving it much, some primer and paint will do ya wonders. Also since it’s not a joint that’ll be seeing constant friction? It should be fine. (Worse comes to worst you could 3d print or buy another of those pieces :3)
Very cool! Is it a resin or filament printer you got?
EDIT. Zooming in revealed it's filament, still very good! Lines are most unnoticeable

I've only looked into 3d printing a little bit, but I'm really surprised to learn that this print has that level of detail using filament!

Right over the edge. Right away
Perfection
So good!
Thank ye, thank ye. Its still got some ways to go but hopefully soon it will be good enough for releasing.
Nice print! At first glance I thought it was a lego sports hockey player mask:D
That’s the reason to have 3d printer
Indeed, its been a huge help
Holy shit the mask he should have gotten! But i would have it use regular short silver lego tubing pieces if possible
Currently in the process of working on it with my brother so when we have it viable ill post, assuming one of the big og's make it first before us!
looking good
Thank ye
OH NO! The blade, IT'S YELLOWING!
Sadly yes. The blade do be yellowing. This is from a duplicate sidorak I own but its still usable and in my eyes just as good!

Fair enough fair enough, should the need arise ill look into it for sure!
Mask still looks awesome tho! Very nicely done!
Very cool! I'd never thought of a Sidorak mask before, which I'm finding odd since I had shouldercanoned him as already wearing a Kaukau
Ive thought about that before. Currently this was a project between me and my brother with the file still being tweaked.
Well, the model looks excellent so far! Any chance you'd also do a version that could connect Lego tubes like the set has, for more customization?
Its definitely an idea that we can work on. I like that idea a lot actually. Ill run it by my brother and see what he can come up with
