Witness tells of meeting a Big Game hunter who had a taxidermied Sasquatch in his private collection. Very interesting story and immediately made me think of the relatively well known video footage of a helicopter seemingly hunting a Bigfoot. Definitely credible that people would want to hunt Sasquatch and apparently not have qualms about it when one considers the recent revelations of " human safaris" in Sarajevo during the Bosnian war. I'm interested to hear if other Redditors have any knowledge of this kind of thing, or what may be in private "collections" out there. If you don't believe in Sasquatch and have no interest in this post please keep scrolling instead of trolling it. Thanks.

    As to big homie cc’s narrative, I have no reason to not believe it. If someone with, say, Tom Slick’s access to funds and connections had the ability to procure a taxidermied corpse of a Sasquatch, I would not put it past them. Of this story is true, I’m sure that that body is not the only out there in a private collection.

  • I can't remember where I heard this but I believe the story went something like this... A UPS or Fed Ex type person was delivering a package to a known Taxidermist...when he entered the shop he waited for the shop owner to come out from the back but realized that the door was slightly ajar. When it became obvious the taxidermist hadn't heard the person entering the store he made some noise to grab his attention but he got a good look at what he was working on...an obvious Bigfoot.

    Once the shop owner realized someone was out front and the door was slightly ajar...he quickly covered what he was working on and was just acting very different than usual.

    I of course can't recall the exact story or where I read/heard this story but at the time I thought it was very compelling and obviously had an impact because it's probably been about 5 yrs since I heard this and I still remember.

    Obviously the story goes into much more details and such but that was the jist of the story. I don't know if it's true or not but it was a great story

  • Honestly what are the chances that it was a fake Bigfoot taxidermy and the guy that owned it was just messing with him. I have a heard time believing you can hunt an animal that can phase in and out of perception and for it to die alone without another Bigfoot trying to help. Also too many stories where someone fired at Bigfoot directly in the chest and for it to do nothing.

    Turns out there’s a bigger world of fake Bigfoot taxidermy so it sounds like this guy was working for a rich man that could afford stuff like that and wanted to play a trick.
