  • Please recommend a restaurant with German cuisine that is open on the 25th and the 26th.

    Happy Holidays

  • What happened to the thirsty guy who loitered in the men's restroom at KitKat? I heard about this weird (but interesting) man who had a strange fetish. Is it true that he may have passed on?

  • Hi everyone, I'm an international student doing bachelor's in Germany, and will be visiting Berlin a day or two before New Year's Eve, and staying till a day after New Year's Eve.

As Berliners or people familiar with the city, what would you recommend for a student visitor? Which places should I see, what experiences are a must, and what should I be careful about? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone happens to be around before NYE or on New Year’s Eve and is up for a casual hangout or exploring together, feel free to DM me.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Going on a trip to berlin with my girlfriend in January first time visiting in the winter what can we do ?

  • Recommendations for new laptop backpack

Hello! I am in Berlin for a few days and my laptop backpack is falling apart. I generally carry my laptop and accessories, a compact camera, kindle and personal stuff.

What high quality but not super expensive backpack do you recommend?

    Thank you in advance

  • I’m going to be using train to travel in Berlin, which zone do I need to buy, going from airport to ostbahnhof, and ostbahnhof to the zoo?

the airport is C and Zoo is A. so you are forced to go with an ABC ticket. same on your way back.

  • Hey Berliners / Berlin regulars!

My friend and I are in Berlin Dec 21–26 and we’re trying to build an itinerary that’s a bit… unusual. We’re not looking for the standard “Top 10 things to do in Berlin” list. We want the stuff that’s genuinely interesting but isn't hyped on every blog.

    Things we’re into:

    • GDR / communist / leftist history & aesthetics (museums, architecture, neighborhoods, memorials, bookstores, bars — anything with real context, not cheesy)
    • Vintage & thrifting (great curated vintage shops and messy treasure-hunt places)
    • Techno / rave / electronic (good nights late Dec — we respect door policies, no-photo rules, etc.)
    • Unusual experiences (odd museums, surreal installations, industrial/“liminal” spaces you can visit legally, niche exhibitions, winter-only things)

What would you recommend that feels like a true hidden gem?
    Bonus points for:

    • places that feel “very Berlin” but aren’t overrun
    • specific neighborhoods/streets to wander for this vibe
    • any December-specific suggestions (markets that aren’t the super touristy ones, pop-ups, seasonal weirdness)

Grateful to anyone who’s willing to share their personal recommendations!

  • Im coming to Berlin solo for 1 night in Jan, Im more than happy to send my day doing touristy things and going to museums, but I don’t really wanna spend my evening just drinking beer alone.

Are there any very social places I can go anyone would recommend where it wouldn’t be strange to say hey to randomers?

Im not staying in a hostel, which I know probably would’ve solved this issue if I were.

  • In Berlin for the next week, the colts game is on @ 10:25 pm tomorrow. Does anyone know where I can watch it? A bar maybe, or some restaurant open that late?

  • Hii! Very soon my friends and I are going to Berlin from December 20 to 24. We have already planned some days to get to the exhibitions that close for the winter and go around the sights of Berlin. But here the 23dec remains almost unfilled. Do you have any suggestions where we could go with friends in the «hidden gems» of this city? We are also big geeks and it would be cool if you told us about interesting shops or museums on this theme!

  • Hello! Looking for Sunday Catholic mass in English in Berlin! :) all my google searches come up with side ie: the AI google result assures me St. no Icarus has English mass on Sunday but all other info only shows Croatian and German masses Thanks!

  • I’m coming to berlin for new years week. Are there things i should know, places i shouldn’t go or places i should?

Do i have to buy tickets for clubbing that night in advance?

What is a good place to be? not to expensive but still fun.

    Is it safe everywhere?

    Thanks in advance🫶🏻✨

check RA for events https://de.ra.co/events/de/berlin plenty of New Years events require tickets but not all of them, without ticket the queues are longer though sometimes 2h+.

if you want clubbing just pick an event where you vibe with the music, some bigger events go for 3days and cost accordingly. Clubbing is safer than on the streets, get used to loud fireworks even before midnight. at midnight many clubbers go outdoors to watch the craziness outside.

    good luck

  • Hi guys! I’ll be in Berlin on Saturday morning (13th december) at 7 am and my return bus is on 2 pm on Sunday. I’ve been to Berlin before, also for a weekend and I’ve seen some landmarks already. This time I’d like to explore the city itself, go into some museums and shops and stroll around. It’s a solo trip. I’m looking for museum ideas for modern art and some 19th century art, if they have a student discount or any other kind of campaign, that’d be great. I’m also looking for cool/fun concept stores, the ones that even though you dont buy anything it’s super fun to visit them. If they are selling smiskis that’s a big plus heheh I’d love to visit a flohmarkt too, since I’ll be in the city very early and shops/museums dont open until 9-10. Open to suggestions!! Thanks a lot 🩷

  • Hi everyone,

We're spending two weeks in Berlin for Christmas and bringing along our 12-year-old daughter. We've already planned a few days at Templin NaturTherme, but I'm looking for suggestions on what else to do during our stay.

Any recommendations for family-friendly activities or must-see places? I'm open to anything! Thanks in advance!

If you're into museums, Futurium (free) and Naturkundemuseum (around 11€ iirc) are great for both kids and adults.

A few Christmas markets have a different theme and vibe so make sure to check beforehand.

Berlin.de website has a list of events. Maybe something might interest you there.

  • Please excuse my use of google translate - I hope this doesn't sound too weird!!!

    Hallo Nachbarn!

In Kreuzberg könntet ihr zur: * Markthalle 9 * Bergmannkiez, Viktoriapark * Flohmarkt am Maybachufer/Nowkölln Flohmarkt (check dates beforehand) * Bethanien for gallery and art stuff * There's an urban art and graffiti walking tour that many people like

    Thank-you!

We didn't end up doing half the stuff we wanted too - I forgot how BIG Berlin is! We had an amazing time, and can't wait to come back! ❤️

  • Hey! We’re going to visit our friend in Berlin over New Year’s. He recently moved there, so I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations. Ideally, we’re looking for a place that’s both a restaurant and a bar, like a New Year’s event. :) If you also have any bar or pub recommendations, feel free to send them as well. Thanks!

  • Does anyone need an accommodation for their stay in Berlin? If so, feel free to contact me.

My apartment is 2 rooms flat in centre of Neukölln, between Boddinstraße and Rathaus Neukölln metro stations. And can accommodate up to 3-4 people, as my living room has a sofa-bed and well equipped. Available till February and also for short stays. ✨

the party can be 24th or 25th of December, meant to celebrate Christmas

  • hi, i am turning 40 next week and decided to yolo and booked a flight from canada to berlin. when i was 22 i spent my summer there, fell in love w language/culture etc and had the greatest time, but of course my knowledge of berlin is pretty outdated. so far my plan is going to see berliner philharmoniker (first time, didn’t care for it when i was young..), and christmas markets (any you recommend in particular? trying to avoid commercial ones like the ones at home). i’m thinking of what else i should add to my list before i skip off to hamburg. i’ve done most of the usual tourist things and museums etc, is there a website that shows all the events going on in berlin on a particular day?

    any restaurant/cafe recommendations?

cool bookstores? (i only recall Dussmann)

i’m staying near Friedrichstr. north of Spree. thanks for your help!

  • Hello. I'm going to Berlin on Friday, arriving very early in the morning and leaving very early the next day. So I haven't booked a hotel because I'll be heading to the airport in the middle of the night.

I would still like to rest for a few hours in the afternoon, without having to pay for a hotel, in a quiet place so that I'm not too tired in the evening.

I would prefer to avoid crowded places, especially at this time of year, as they quickly exhaust me.

    Do you have any suggestions?

It could be a café that you find particularly relaxing or a pleasant outdoor spot where I can take a nap...

  • Will be arriving on the 20th and staying through to the 23rd, wondering if major shops will be closed on 21st Sunday?

Its einkaufsonntag so shops might be open after 1pm but you need to check with the shop itself

  • Hello! Quick question for Berliners! I need to be at the Uber arena for 8.30pm. A flight lands at 7.10pm at terminal 2, and I will have hand luggage only. I’m assuming it’ll need a little bus to the terminal as it’s Ryanair.

How likely is it (assuming that the flight lands on time obviously) that I will get off the plane, into the terminal, into a taxi and get to the Uber arena in time for 8.30? ChatGPT and google maps say it is possible.

yeah sounds doable, I expect you leave the airport around 7:40+ that leaves some room for the traffic, which can be a lot around Uber Arena so check public transport vs cab on google maps.

  • I’m going to Berlin between December 25 to December 30 and want to go to a rave. I need recommendations!! Either an event or something local.

I only know about Berghain but I guess it’s quite impossible to get in there…

Any trace/techno club recommendation is also appreciated 🙏

    just check ra.co for events

  • Hi! I'm going to berlin, possibly alone, for NYE, to see Volpe at Primal Instinct. Wondering if someobdy reads this and think hell yeah let's meet up.

Any suggestions around the technoclubbing area (lomuhleninsel, rudolfkiez?) for food, vintage clothing and bars are very welcome too!

Or if you also are by yourself, I wouldn't mind sharing a two bedroom BnB/hotel - it's cheaper

  • Hi! Me and my boyfriend are visiting Berlin for the weekend, and we would love to watch the final formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi. However, we are struggling to locate a bar of another type of spot to watch the race. I would love to get some tips or recommendations! Thanks!

  • Hi!

I'm visiting Berlin in some time and my main reason is to see/experience as many van Gogh's related locations as possible. I'd be very grateful if someone were able to add to the list below of what's there to see. :) I'm interested in any form of reference to him and his life, like bars, murals, graffiti, museum collections etc... except the infamous "Immersive exhibition". Thanks in advance. ;)

    1. Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (if somone's interested I have this list with the pictures, Reddit doesn't allow images here)

Le Moulin de la Galette, Bild, 1886
Felder mit Getreidebündeln, Zeichnung, Herstellung: Mitte Juli 1888
Straßenarbeiter bei der Aushebung eines Treppenschachtes, Zeichnung, Herstellung: 1882/1883
Kornfeld mit Mäher, Zeichnung, Herstellung: 1889
Ernte in der Provence (für Émile Bernard), Zeichnung, Herstellung: Mitte Juli 1888
    Brandung, Zeichnung, Herstellung: 1888
L'homme à la pipe. Bildnis des Dr. Gachet, Druck, 1890
Olivenbäume vor dem Alpillen-Gebirge, Zeichnung, 1889

    1. Van Gogh bar - Grolmanstraße 41-43, 10623 Berlin

That's a very specific question. There's obviously https://vincent-immersiv.de/ but for a list of locations of Van Gogh art I think Google is undefeatable.

Thanks for an answer. :) About the immersive experience, I'm not a big fan of that. And the things I've listed in the comment, meaning the bar and a few artworks, are all I could find. I was hoping that there are some Berlin locals who'd be able to spot some street artworks and stuff like that that Google doesn't necessarily show. :/

  • I have lacked amusement in bigger cities like munich and Stuttgart. I believe berlin being a megacity has more to offer. Me and my friend are visiting berlin from the 25th till the 29th of berlin. What are some places that you recommend seeing that don't get spoken off. Like the actual berlin experience. Restuarant recommendations, spots to visit, cafes, etc.. (aside from christmas markets)

Note: I would appreciate it if you could provide places open on the 25th as its going to be closed mostly around the city. Thank you

  • Hi, I'm from New Zealand and will be visiting Berlin next year.

We used to have a hot pretzel store here that sold salted caramel filled pretzels, however it shut down years ago. I have been craving these specific pretzels ever since.

After a quick look at the top pretzel places in Berlin, I can not find any caramel filled pretzels. Is anyone aware of a place that sells such pretzels?

A fresh plain pretzel on its own is already a great treat. There are also some pretzels filled with butter and maybe covered in cheese at bakeries like Ditch but overall our pretzels don't get too fancy. Crazy pretzel combos or even sweet ones seem to be more of a thing in the Anglo-American world where the original influence of a certain world cuisuine then somehow turned its own special thing.

Think that's more of an American thing

AHHHH MY CRAVING WILL CONTINUE (I sure as hell am not going to America)

    Thanks though :)

  • Hello! I'll be in Berlin for a few weeks soon and would love recommendations for great specialty coffee. Any must-visit cafésroasters with cupping bars or places to buy beans. I'm staying in Prenzlauer Berg but I will be moving around a lot. Thank you!

  • Hansaviertel noise levels

    Hello!

I'm moving back to Berlin with my family (partner and 2 small kids) and we got a pretty good chance at a flat in hansaviertel (specifically the alvar alto Haus).

We don't know about the area much but we do know Moabit and also google street view helps 😃

However, with the sbahn and the altonastr close by, does anyone who lives or have lived/been there could give some info about how loud it is, both outside or inside the house? My partner needs relative calm to sleep sleep so wondering how that feels.

Any other top of mind about the area is welcome, I also read related posts about it.

    Thanks!

It's not a super lively area and from Streetview it doesn't look like the S-Bahn or the big street are right in front of your window.

  • What are some nice local bands / venues? I’m interested in DIY / punk type places and bands

  • Hello!

I’m curious to find if there are places where people from different ages (including 37+) can play and learn different sports.

I always wanted to try and learn Volleyball / Table Tennis / etc, but as I’m way outside of the age of properly playing it at a club, I was wondering if Berlin has places for people like me that want to learn and have some fun with the sport.

    Cheers!

ask r/askberliners maybe you get some input. urban sport is a decent sport membership, not cheap, they have referral codes for some discounts. it's a big marketplace where many venues and sport clubs offer their sports. I assume in winter the offers for volleyball and table tennis are more limited. other options check meetup.com or nebenan.de to connect with others.

edit: I just put tischtennis erwachsene anfänger berlin, in google and got plenty of some good results.

  • Hi everyone! We’re two 25-year-old travelers on a short FlixBus layover in mid-December. We arrive around 7:00 AM and leave again at 12:30 PM, so that gives us roughly 4 hours to get a small taste of Berlin. We were thinking of dropping our backpacks in a locker at the ZOB. After that, we’ve put together a rough plan and we’d love to know if it seems realistic for a winter morning.

What we’d like to see (not expecting to do everything): * Brandenburg Gate (early morning feels like a peaceful time) * Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe * Possibly a Berlin Wall–related spot if it fits naturally into the route * Maybe a quick look at an esoteric/spiritual shop, if there’s something easy to reach * A good vegetarian-friendly bakery for breakfast and a budget takeaway place to grab something for the bus ride or a place to eat something before

What we’re looking for: We’re not after a detailed itinerary — just general feedback from people who know Berlin: * Does this plan sound manageable in about 4 hours? * Is there one Berlin Wall location that makes the most sense given the time? * Any suggestions for a nice meaningful morning walk connecting these spots? Like hidden gems or not so touristy places * Any suggestions about a good typical bakery?

We know time is tight, so our goal is simply a calm morning walk, something good to eat, and a little moment to connect with the city and its rich history.

Thanks so much to anyone willing to share a bit of local insight! ✨

yes from Brandenburger Gate you can easily go to Checkpoint Charlie or Topographie des Terrors for Berlin Wall history. it's very touristy so not sure about food or shops. At Mall of Berlin is a Lindner which offers higher end foods and just below Lindner in the basement of the mall is a standard bakery or Aldi (supermarket).

  • What’s the best way to get around the city in late Decembe/early January? Are there buses or a metro system, and can I take them from the airport (Brandenburg) ?

Publicerad transport operator is called BVG

No, public transport does not operate in December and January.

Are you serious? There’s no public transportation at all? What’s the best way to get around during those times then?

They mean that public transportation will most likely be on strike on and off for weeks on end. Biking is your best bet if you live inside the ring

From the airport, is there any public transportation? Is there an app or website where I can check the schedules? I know Google Maps shows routes, but I’m looking for something that tells me whether service will be running or suspended on a specific day or week

City mapper is your best bet, gives all the updates on the schedule.

  • Hi everyone, I’m coming to Berlin next week and I wanted to know which techno clubs are truly incredible. After doing some research, it seems like the most famous clubs don’t really play hard, intense hardtechno. Are there any exceptions? Thanks a lot for your help. Max

ra.co lets you filter by genre

  • I am visiting Berlin soon to see a guy I am dating! He mentioned ge likes to collect watches, I want to give him a nice watch for his collection! Any suggestions? What brand would he like?

Depends a lot, like, style, budget, state of collection.

You will get better answers on r/watches.

    Thankyouu that helps

  • I’m looking for cafés in Berlin where smoking is allowed indoors. Not bars or shisha places — ideally actual cafés where you can sit, drink coffee, and smoke.

Berlin’s smoking laws make it hard to figure out which places actually allow it, so I’d love recommendations for anywhere with a proper smoking room or special permission.

If you know any spots where you personally go to smoke and chill with a coffee, please share. Thanks!

K-Fetisch, they also sell alcohol but it is more of a cafe vibe. They have a smoking room

Hello, good morning everyone. I’ve recently found a job in Berlin and I’m currently looking into rental options. I would love to know the approximate rental prices in the southern area, especially in the neighborhoods around Tempelhofer Feld, and which areas you would recommend.
If any of you has experience living there or knows of an apartment that might become available for January, I would greatly appreciate any information, tips, or recommendations you can share.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    GR

Hallo, guten Morgen zusammen.

  • Moving from a Swiss village to Berlin — does it make sense?

Hi everyone — my family (me, partner, and two teenagers) are considering a move from a small village in Switzerland to Berlin. I already have a job offer there. Looking for honest perspectives on whether this makes sense for a family with teens.

    A few details:
    - Coming from a quiet, rural Swiss village.
    - We want better cultural/education opportunities and more space to grow.
    - Two teenagers (mid teens) — important that they adjust socially and academically.
    - My partner and the kids speak German.
    - I have a job offer but still weighing the costs, schooling options, and overall lifestyle change.

    Questions:
    - How are schools for teenagers in Berlin (public vs. international vs. bilingual)?
    - How easy is it for teens to make friends and integrate?
    - How do family living costs compare to Switzerland (rent, healthcare, activities)?
    - Any tips for neighborhoods good for families with teens?
    - Anything you wish you’d known before making a similar move?

Thanks — would appreciate real experiences from families or teens who’ve made a similar move.

  • Hi everyone!

My husband and I are moving from Brazil to Berlin soon. He has German citizenship and speaks B1-level German, and I’ll come with a family reunion visa.

My plan is to start with the integration course and then look for a UX internship. I’ve already taken some UX courses in Brazil, but I’m not enrolled in a university right now. In Brazil, most internships require you to be a student, is it the same in Germany, or is it possible to get a UX internship based only on courses and a portfolio?

My husband is also a junior designer and will be looking for work.

We’ve been checking Spotahome and Wunderflats for temporary rentals — has anyone used them recently? Any advice or other suggestions?

Would love to hear any tips from people who also started their life in Berlin without a job lined up — what helped you the most in the beginning? 💛

    Thanks a lot in advance!

Hey im sure you've heard this already but just be warned that the UX / Design industry is seriously in the toilet right now and Berlin is not exception. Junior roles are incredibly difficult to come by and many UX professionals are out of work.

Some companies may have Working Student roles which is like an internship. You must be studying and can only work 0.5FTE. The company can decide what they pay you in this case, it could be unpaid or under minimum wage since some course programs require an internship to complete the degree.

  • Hallo,

  • Hey everyone! I’m planning a night out in Berlin with some friends and we’re thinking about going to Tipsy Bear. We mostly just want to dance in drag, have fun, and stay out way too late. 😄

I’ve heard different things about the place, including that it can sometimes get a bit kinky or wild. Nothing wrong with that at all, I’m just curious what the usual vibe is. Is it mostly a friendly queer bar with dancing, or does it ever get more… adventurous? Just want to know what to expect so we’re prepared, haha.

    Thanks in advance! 🌈💃🦄

  • Sickingenstraße , 10553 Berlin – Erfahrungen mit der Gegend und mit Habyt?Hallo zusammen,

  • Hello - we are coming to Germany to visit our daughter who is studying in Berlin this semester. I will be getting my fill of Bavarian food first, then we are finifhing in Berlin. As someone who remembers the wall coming down (watching it on TV), I have a small fascination with East Berlin (last time I was in Germany, communism was still very prevalent). I would really like to try some traditional (East) Berlin food if any restaurants still remain.

Any suggestions on places or dishes to try?

there is a famous DDR restaurant Volkskammer

My recommendation is to go to any butcher during lunch time 11-14:00 and you will have plenty of local foods to chose from. most of them have a daily changing lunch menu with 1-2 dishes or a soup to chose from. best put "Fleischerei" in google maps next to you and check them out. Famous ones are Fleischerei Staroske, Domke, Niemann, ... Next best will be some local Kantine, check google, some are free for public. Universities ones are free, Abgeordnetenhaus or BSR ones too.

Awesome! We will be there for several days with lots of opportunities to eat. Vielen Dank!

    Thank you for your suggestions!

Volkskammer is pretty authentic, down to the salt shaker.

An other place for time travel would be the Kantine of Die Linke, bring cash.

If you want it all, Warschaer Str., Domkes and as touristy as it get at Bergmankiez.

For German street food, Langes Imbiss, out in Tegel.

  • Hi everyone! My girlfriend and I are traveling to Copenhagen and then Berlin (from India), and our trip lines up perfectly with Radiohead’s Europe tour. We don’t have tickets yet for either city’s show, but any leads for Berlin would be really appreciated.

We’re super excited about visiting a new city anyway, but getting to see Radiohead live would be a dream come true!

If you have any extra tickets, know someone who does, or have any guidance on where to look, please feel free to DM me.Thank you so much in advance! 😊

  • I'm planning my 2026 [https://www.superbooth.com/en/](Superbooth) visit at FEZ, I'll probably stay a week.

In 2024 I stayed near Ostbahnhof / Eastside Gallery which was shit.

In 2025 I stayed between Ostkreuz / Boxhagener Platz which was definitely good and not as anonymous as Eastside Gallery. Being near Ostkreuz also allowed me to explore a lot of Berlin and still being "close" to FEZ/Wuhlheide.

Do you have some other tips for places that have a somewhat decent connection to Wuhlheide and the rest of Berlin while having walkable Restaurants etc. nearby?

Ostkreuz/Warschauer Str. is already the best location when you want to stay on the S3. If you don't mind the additional commute you could check out Prenzlauer Berg.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Hi guys, hopefully someone can advise. I'm visiting next week for a few days and looking for a 24 hours gym I can get a day pass for. Ideally which uses a code (like Puregym in the UK), so I can go in the middle of the night without having to have staff present. I'm staying in Friedrichshain but I don't mind travelling further. Thanks!

Gym day passes are not a huge thing in this country somehow. If they exist you usually need to talk to some staff member somehow, and that would not work at night.

Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it :)

Man lernt ggf.

    Danke.

I don't have direct experience with this but for all of my friends who've come here and worked in hospitality they've had to deal with being jerked around by seriously terrible employers. 50 hours one week, 5 hours the next, unpaid trials, stolen tips, schwarzarbeit etc leading to a very struggle street kind of life.

Your experience may be different if youre German though.

That's awful to hear. Especially in Germany. I've had several part-time jobs in the restaurant industry myself and never experienced anything like that. Maybe it really is because your friends are foreigners... even though that's not exactly reassuring. I'll definitely take the advice to be careful. I absolutely refuse to be treated like that, and nobody else should have to either.

  • Hi Were visiting Berlin from Switzerland and enjoying it very much! Today is the Game Switerland-Sweden and we want to watch it with our fellow Swiss People. Now the Question. Somebody know a Swiss Bar to watch to watch the Footballgame tonight? Thanks for dour Help!

  • Do I need to validate a ticket bought on the BVG app? If so how is this done? I have only bought paper tickets in the past.

yes papertickets need to be validated. the stamp machines for it are usually next to the ticket machines at every station. remember certain tickets need to be validated only once! otherwise there are apps like Jelbi from BVG to purchase tickets, they are valid directly after purchase.

What about a digital ticket though- I don’t have a paper one only an apple wallet one?

digital tickets are usually valid directly after purchase.

  • Visiting Berlin with my m8's. What should we do? Will they give us a group discount at the Berghain? Anyone know if there are any Groupons for clubs in Berlin? Where can I get a harness?

Berghain is hard as a group, single gays have better chances. https://www.reddit.com/r/berlinsocialclub/comments/1kbg17c/kinky_store_recommendations_for_kitkat_this/ here some store recommendations, also there are 2 berghain subreddits r/Berghain_Community r/berghain for info and r/berlinsocialclub for meetups. groupons? not but if you know people you can get guest list with only 5€ entry instead of 25€ nowadays. and some events offer cheaper presale tickets: https://de.ra.co/events/de/berlin
