I hadn’t been to Lab Dance in years, even though I go to the Laboratory almost every week. And honestly, I witnessed some of the worst behavior ever that night at Lab Dance.
To start, the muscle queens in the dance-floor bathroom were very aggressive, rude, shoving people, making racist comments out loud, even insulting an older man because she thought he was hitting on her. Seriously. What disgusting behavior.
One muscle queen walked past me in a hallway and elbowed me. Another literally stuck her foot in front of me and I almost fell. I don’t know if this is supposed to be some kind of flirting tactic, but it was absolutely awful.
Inside the actual LAB, even on Fridays, everyone respects the bathroom rules. But at Lab Dance, people were straight-up cutting the bathroom line in the most aggressive way. Obviously I didn’t let that slide, but honestly… what a trashy crowd.
If this is like a mini-Snax, then I never want to go to Snax. This kind of crowd is exactly what makes me not want to participate in Pride events or anything like that.
Now, something I was curious about: all the muscle queens were sniffing something from a stick, but it looked like a liquid inside. I was really wondering what that was. Because G is something they drink, so what is that thing they sniff from a stick?

If it was similar to this then maybe a bullet... You fill a reservoir with powder, flip it around a specific way to fill the chamber with a measured amount of what you want, and sniff it out of the top.

I think we all know them and they don’t require much description or further details. (I have a muscled body myself but definitely not one of the circuit, that some call queens - who can be everything but definitely not queens 😂
I thought the name was kind of obvious, but I honestly feel 0% attraction to those muscular guys. I’m usually very polite when any normal man, or someone older or less conventionally attractive , approaches me and I don’t want ,I’m always very polite. But with those muscle queens, I make a point of totally ignoring them every time one of them comes up to me (which usually happens at the end of parties). One of them even had the nerve to insult me after I said no.

Yeah Lab has become a mini Snax the last few years and people are generally very drugged there to respect you or respect any lines inside (queueing) especially the ghb-guys. I ve been to Snax twice to grant entrance the next day because Fadi Mohem was playing on Sunday and Berlin was insanely crowded those two weekends. I don’t go to Friday lab since last year - not a joyful experience anymore (particularly when it comes to the bathroom indeed) and now it’s filled by the circuit guys Argh. Now regarding the “stick” and sniffing? My guess it should be poppers !
I still enjoy regular Fridays at Lab, but Lab.Dance (which takes place on the first friday of each month) is not for me anymore, I don't like the vibes anymore.

This integration thing doesn’t even exist, and not even Germans themselves want it… let’s be honest, right? But this isn’t something to say out loud. This is something you say to your family or your friends. What does it even mean to ‘integrate’? I guarantee you that if it were a white Australian living here for 20 years without speaking German, it wouldn’t be a problem.
Integration includes language, education, labor market, culture, laws, ethics, social norms, social participation and many other things. I do find it problematic when an Australian lives here for more than a few years and doesn’t learn German. I definitely find it problematic when someone lives here for 10 or 20 or 30 years, doesn’t speak German, is unemployed and on long-term social benefits, forms parallel societies whose propagated values violate our constitution, and raises their kids to be exactly the same.
If that’s a white Australian, I absolutely have a problem with it. I just never met a white Australian that actually fits this description. Some may not learn German, but they’re generally employed and otherwise well integrated.
And sorry, but “we all think it, you just can’t say it” is a stupid, disingenuous attitude. How are we supposed to address problems if we al collectively pretend they don’t exist out of politeness?
How is thinking people should integrate racist?
Because I don’t believe Germans actually want real integration. They don’t want Indians to be part of their golf club or whatever, or Arabs and Latinos hanging out in their restaurants. So what exactly is “integration”? Everyone speaking German??? Everyone changing their religion to Catholic or Protestant and forgetting their religions of origin???
So, from my point of view, saying this kind of thing in public looks really bad and sounds racist and xenophobic. It’s not the kind of thing I want to hear drugged-up gays shouting at a party.
I also think it’s complete bullshit that Germany brings millions of refugees here who end up not working and living off welfare. I think that’s one of the stupidest thing in the world. But that’s something I talk about at home with my husband, not with strangers in a club full of drugged people whose background you don’t even know.
And you know why? Because in situations like that, a foreigner might hear it and not take it well (as happened to me). Sometimes the person who hears it is just waiting for a trigger to do something stupid. People are full of hate, the more discrimination the more hate! That alway gonna end up really bad

This idea that integration is a requirement of a modern society is just bonkers, and only really applied to a small subset of the global population. There's a biological reason people tend to gravitate towards others like themselves....and that's OK! FFS you're on a sub that spends most of its time discussing how to keep the wrong type of person from not getting into a club. The cognitive dissonance is real.
I don’t think wanting to be with your own is a racist idea. It’s how you treat others who aren’t like you is the key difference.
Also, there is a significant difference between filtering who gets into a club with filtering who enters a country based on an immutable characteristic.
