Let us know what flavor notes 2025 offers. I got a bottle in 2023 and it tasted like luxardo cherries. Absolutely incredible. I know they change it up every few years!
Also, the 2025 Utopias introduces Irish Whiskey, Amarone, and White Port barrels to our aging process, alongside our traditional Ruby Port, Carcavelos, Cognac, and, most recently, Scotch casks.
Purchased utopias in 2015 for $150
I only had an oz for special occasions and it probably lasted over 4 years in the back of my fridge. Unbelievable experience every time and surely a one and done purchase.
Enjoy it and dont over indulge! Little goes a long way once it warms
It lasted that long because it was kinda gross right? Be honest. I’ve tried it multiple times and I find it to be a “tough hang”. It’s certainly not a beer anyone can claim to have a taste for. Complex. Challenging. Complicated. Not what I need from a beer.
I did come across a bottle the other day, but I can't fit it into my budget at that price.
I did get an overview of the high gravity brewing process from Grant Wood who used to be the head brewer at Sam adams and brewed Utopia a few times. There was lots of interesting info I still have notes to understand how he brewed high gravity beers.
It's really an absurd price for only 25 oz of beer. A one time deal for me for sure. I couldn't believe I actually came across a few bottles so I finally pulled the trigger after all these years, lol.
Hmm how do you like the Utopia?
Haven't cracked it open yet. Probably will later in the week around X-mas. Will be my first taste ever. Will report back and give an update.

The 2025 was very Maple
According to Sam Adams, "Vermont Maple Syrup" was added to the blend for 2025.

Wow, over 4 years? I won't have that kind of self-discipline, haha. Plus, too many friends to share it with.
Definitely a one-and-done purchase. I was hoping to find a bottle at one of my local Costcos for the $220 price but nada.

I see you met my ex-girlfriend and current wife.
Just need a Snake Venom to add to the collection
What's your thoughts on the Snake Venom?

Do they still do the free glencairn glass if you scan the code on the label?
Nope :(
WOW…… almost the same as mine. https://www.reddit.com/r/beerporn/s/ZjjNp7nYIX
Nice! What are your impressions of the Praline and Cherries stout?
Haven't tried it yet. Will crack it open on Xmas.
But when you consider the Net Savings, it’s a great deal… oh, wait… never mind.
Mine was about $400 for my cousins wedding but I just bought 10 cases of Busch light
