I know it's a selection bias of what makes the front page, but I also think it's funny that every post that I see from this sub is a guy transforming from homeless man to Calvin Klein model. I know we can't all turn into handsome Squidward but it's definitely helped me feel like if I'm ever losing my hair it won't be a big deal which is nice.
The "original" was made with AI. A week or so ago someone made the one posted above by hand, using the actual source image instead of an AI reimagining of it. I saw a comment in that thread of someone else who had just done the same thing. So there's at least 3 versions, one AI and two by hand but by different people so it's a little different.
The algorithm is weird. r/rosesarered only ever turns up in your feed when someone has absolutely no idea how rhymes work, and r/bald only turns up in your feed when someone is so crazy hot without their hair you consider leaving your wife as a kindness knowing there's so much greener grass out there.
