A theory of mine is the U.S. desperately wants Greenland because they know Europe is kind of screwed demographically.
The National Security Strategy 2025 document pretty plainly spelled out the fact European states might not reflect U.S. strategic priorities ten, or twenty years in the future due to a rapidly changing ethnic profile.

One of the most striking examples of double standards reporting in recent years was the dichotomy between how the media reacted to George Floyd's killing and Charlie Kirk's.
I remember JOB doing his usual shtick of playing dumb about who Kirk was before playing numerous clips from Kirk, in a clear-as-day attempt to manufacture a sense of "oh well, he deserved it" to his audience. Funny, those who pointed out that Floyd was a career criminal and very far from the choir boy image being projected were immediately dismissed as racist and disregarded. "Whatever he said or did doesn't justify what happened to him" was a sentiment reserved only for Floyd, not Kirk.
One said nasty things, the other DID nasty things. There is a difference. I actually made the faux pas a few weeks back, showing a ultra-woke mate an IG shit poster account that made memes about Kirk and Floyd.
The Kirk memes were met with hilarity and a sense of "fuck him, cunt" but the Floyd memes went down like Hit Me Baby One More Time at a women shelter. Oops. Know your audience folx!

Quite a difference between these programmes and the bullshit masters in business that they use to stay here for 2 years.
Getting pupilage is already incredible difficult for domestic students and virtually impossible for international students not from the US/Canada or Europe
