Waking up and reading all the redditors calling for war after ICE shot a woman trying to run them over is wild. These thin armed, neurodivergents thinking they have what it takes is hilarious. They're openly calling for war and trying to make a Winter of Floyd scenario....and it's always in fucking Minneapolis. Idk wth they're doing up there the nutters.
Insomnia is a bitch. Anyone got any foces that've worked for them? I can self medicate with booze but obviously that's not a long term solution.
Anyway, arryookay have seen Farage say he won't vote to send British lads to die in Ukraine and immediately started champing at the bit to support the next forever war, calling him a Russian puppet for the crime of not thinking it's a great idea to send 50,000 troops there for "peacekeeping"
Chamomile tea and magnesium glycinate helps me a lot. If that doesn't work, consider taking melatonin. Also, when you wake up in the morning, try to spend some time outside to reset your circadian rhythm.
Jolly jack below also has some good pointers.
Stop ingesting caffeine and sugar, do not use your phone or a pc/laptop from 5pm, do some exercise during the day.
Goes without saying to cut out alcohol also.
I think doctors are right when they say it's about lifestyle changes etc- make sure you're getting enough exercise, vitamin D in the winter, don't have low blood sugar at night. Also obviously drinking can disrupt the sleepy chemicals in your brain.
However for temporary insomnia travel sickness tablets with anti-histamine in will help- I use them for jetlag
I have fitful sleep after every flight plus jet lag. Melatonin tablets over the counter really help. Pop 1 30mins before bedtime and gets me under.
Also, we don't have 50k deployable troops.
I just can't with these fucking people. Like, what goes through their heads? Other than nothing…certainly not a bullet from a russian gun cause those fucks are never being sent to Ukraine. Absolute wankers.
Biggest failure of RW anywhere is to be so stupidly insular, few important things are purely national so nothing will ever get solved with this mindset.
Trump is of course the most extreme example of it, but even the more rw Tories pre and post Brexit and Reform and so on have always ignored their companions across Europe, Latin America, Canada/AUS and elsewhere or worse just lumped them all into the same box of 'Brussels', even when RWs in Europe had some power over some things, the idea of working with them on almost anything ever wasn't interesting enough it seems.
Meanwhile left of centre peoples co-ordinate every fucking thing, whether theyre in or out power, through all channels, even the elected PMs and Presidents co-ordinate half of the policies and messaging that they push, then there's about a few million different organisations with a singular goal and so on.
Because most of those parties that are similar are either led by incompetent regards or wets like Meloni. UKIP tried what you said back in the 2000s and by 2016 all the anti-EU parties backtracked on leaving the EU.
However Redorm are already talking with RN in France and I think Reform should cooperate with the Canadian and Australian versions of Reform (PPC and One Nation).
Nige also needs to distance himself from MAGA because MAGA post-Trump will be very anti-European. Trump only has a couple years left in politics.
Its just machismo politics. They have to point to someone else and say "I'm better than him".
https://news.sky.com/story/adults-in-england-eating-22-bags-of-crisps-a-day-in-salt-study-says-13491076
I’m begging news orgs to stop using these stupid equivalencies in headlines. Just say outright the amount.
Anyway, it’s 8.4g salt, so about 3.26g sodium. It’s about a gram more than recommended. It’s the population as a whole too, so this is averaged and includes people who eat like McDonalds style slop daily. Terrifying and riveting isn’t it. Ban salt now to save us from one gram a day I say.
It’s literally on the packaging. It says in black and white the salt content, you just have to be able to, like, read and do basic maths, and maybe don’t eat 6 pieces of bacon daily.
Fuck offfffffffffff Campaigners are the most useless bottom feeders of society. An entire class of people who exist purely to campaign over issues no one else cares about (or else they’d be issues publicly debated). Why should all our food be made worse tasting just because if you average it out people eat a single gram more of sodium than recommended?
Which is barely anything. You’re recommended to eat a maximum of around 2.3g sodium a day, that’s like 0.15g sodium. It’s as close to salt-free as you can basically physically get without it being just burned potatoes. If you just maybe don’t eat super salty foods daily then a pack of crisps or two is fine. You can have days too where you eat a lot of salt and that’s fine. It’s with prolonged excessive sodium intake where problems surface.
Stalinist nutjobs. Jesus Just don’t drink soy sauce daily. Maybe switch to low sodium stuff if you have a heart issue. Why should we all have to live like ancient Romans carefully rationing out the precious resource of salt?
Dietary science be like:
The stress of worrying about having 'too much salt' in ones diet is probably doing more harm than the occassional ready salted bag.
Personally I try not to eat anything overly refined (if it didn't exist 500 years ago, don't eat it), and focus mainly on high protein, medium fat and low carb.
As if half of the lads don’t put half of Colombia up their nose every weekend

Its quite clever, documenting every little thing makes it official, something anyone can stumble on to any time for generations to come, something which can be referenced in other discussions and so on, and can frame it however you want on a biased official platform
Meanwhile virtually all the findings the Right discovers just come and go with the news cycles, or if they do make it onto any internet repository it'll become an awfully biased Wiki article
Right wing discoveries are called conspiracy theories or moral panics on Wikipedia.

She's white?
Guess there'll be no peaceful yet fiery lootings this time around, then. Sad!
She's a young pretty white women. There could actually be some repercussions legally.

Also badUK showing yet again a fucking shite taste in women…
Tbf I just saw the pic of her peering out the window of her car. Pixilated and she looked maybe 25-30.

You know it's a bad nanny state policy when the fannies over at yookaypol disagree with it.

Has anyone considered the history of Macao when discussing Greenland? The Portuguese owned it and the Chinese forced them to hand it over without much international opposition. Now the world is losing their shit over the US going for a deal on Greenland.
Yes, William Clouston SDP

Interesting, this is my thoughts too. Fundamentally I am pro-colonialism and see it as a superior system to the modern world order. It certainly benefit the maritime powers of Europe immensely.

Macau is a bad example, the Portuguese wanted to hand it over as soon as the 70 rolled around. China refused to take it back multiple times, but Portugal withdrew troops and recognised it as essentially being PRC territory, eventually a handover was then negotiated.
Macau is more like us handing over the Chagos islands than the Greenland thing (or Hong Kong)
India annexing Portuguese Goa is a similar example. Greenland is still pretty different for several reasons. It's much larger, belongs to an ally, and never actually belonged to the Americans historically (unless you count administration during WWII, which is a weak claim IMO). It just seems like vain map painting to me. The Americans already have military access, and could probably purchase any sort of mining rights they could want.
Sure, I don’t agree with Trump. My point is more that countries trade land all the time, when you look at history on timescales longer than our life expectancy, and it’s often done through coercion in one way or another.
If Britain handed the Falklands over to Argentina there would be no outrage internationally, it would just be considered a normal thing to happen.
China’s relationship with the European colonial powers is famously antagonistic. Century of shame?
Not sure how that relates to the USA floating the idea of forcing Denmark, a close ally who backed it in two wars very recently and an active NATO participant, to hand over territory under threat of invasion.
It is more akin to something the Soviet Union would have done to a Warsaw Pact country.
Greenland is an overseas colony in the Americas though. It’s not core Danish territory like Schleswig. Generally these kinds of places have been “decolonised” in one way or another without much fuss. The Spanish, Germans and Japanese had their taken by force. In the cases of Hong Kong and Macao deals were made under the clear threat of force. In Goa the Indians just marched in.
The world generally looks favourably on white people losing their colonies.
We also owned Hong Kong. It was only the New Territories on the 99 year lease.
I guess the difference is that China wasn't an ally who had fought alongside us in unpopular wars.
Portuguese held Macao much longer and under no time limited lease. They were bullied into handing the territory over. Now it is just considered acceptable.
The world generally takes a Spanish and Argentine side on Gibraltar and the Falklands too. The current government is paying Mauritius to take land away from us.
Just seems strange to me that we all treat Greenland as legitimate Danish land now and forever, when such territorial changes are a common thing.
I think it's more that Trump is threatening military invasion of the territory of a NATO ally that's the shocking part of it.
If he was just trying to buy it then fair enough. But trying to bully a country that's supposedly a friend and ally isn't a great look.
The good auld BBC are saying this in regards to the shooting in Minneapolis:
Instead of 'Protestor tries to run over ICE agent, agent returned fire in self defence'. You think you hate the media enough and you don't. As others are saying further down the thread; why is the lede on the beeb right now in the UK lol?
They should have shot the tires out
This is America.
If you've actually seen the video it's not in self defense- she obviously doesn't try to run over him, and it's basically a cold blooded execution brought about by Yanks yet again being trigger happy regards.
Anybody saying otherwise is so partisan their brain is rotted and they're incapable of any objectivity.
Fair. I trust you judgement on this.
Protestor panicked and accelerated, hitting an ICE agent that was in front of the vehicle. Unfortunate situation, but entirely justifiable. Cars are the most dangerous thing for coppers here, and the second most dangerous thing for US coppers (beaten only by firearms).
Ideally the ICE agent should not have been going round the front of the vehicle, but it's very easy to say this when we see 3+ angles vs someone managing their own risk inside 3 seconds.
Why are you sending me snide messages calling me a cunt and deleting them you coward?
Still won’t curse Vishnu will you
Darwin Award for the driver though
It sure looks like she hit him to me... Maybe that's not what she was trying to do, but how was he supposed to know that?

By already being stood to the side and then to the back of her car as it was going past him by the time he took the shots?

He wasn't in danger of being run over though.
That's an absurd take and anybody who makes it has lost all objectivity.
Anyway, not that interested in another Yank politics debate so whatever
[deleted]
Ok keep telling yourself that hun...
[deleted]
Also fuck off with the Vishnu rubbish. It's tiresome
I bet you wanted Martyn Blake sent down
Noped. Kaba was guilty as fuck.
Situations were entirely different. Clearly absolutely no need for this officer to shoot three times (twice when the car had already gone past him)
Cops would love the ability to slow down reality by 10 times when making their decision to shoot/not shoot, it would make their job much easier.

Too grainy a video. In the other better quality one it looks more like he side steps it, although obscured by the policeman trying to open the door.
Ultimately if he'd not shot her would he have died or even have been hurt? I think the answer is clearly no.
So it's hard to say shooting her was justified.
I thought that originally, but from the other angle (even though being grainy), it seems more like he was pushed backwards.
Shootings can't be determined justified/unjustified based on hindsight. Yes if an officer doesn't shoot and doesn't get hurt that's great, but what about if it puts them at a severe risk of getting hurt? They can't be expected to put their lives at risk and hope to get lucky, just to preserve the life of a criminal.
Are you really going to put your life in the hands of a female driver?
Evidently he would have been ok, does he know that at the time? No.

Yeah, she’s not trying to run anyone over just watched three different angles.
Car moves about half a foot after she waves through one of the ICE cars, half arsed attempt to get in their way but nobody is on foot at that point and prone.
It was bound to happen as both sides have been escalating their intensity.
Yeah unless there’s another angle I haven’t see it just looks like she’s driving away from one of the agents who’s stood close to, but not in front of, her car. She’s shouldn’t have drove away but that shouldn’t be punishable by death.
The agent was in front of her car. CCTV recording from a different angle:

The question to ask is if none of those policemen had guns, would anyone have died?
The answer is obviously no from watching the video.
So the policeman was in the wrong.
They might commit suicide a year later and we can attribute it to this event like they did for Capitol Police officers at Jan 6th.
[deleted]
Kaba was a totally different situation
Impossible to know. Someone might have had a brain aneurysm for example. Or sudden death syndrome. Or any other possibility.
Stupid question.
'But I did eat breakfast'
Counterpoint - she does. Would you speed at someone if they were pointing guns at you other than if they’d cursed Vishnu?
There are apparently several videos of the shooting taken from multiple angles. I've only seen one, but I'd imagine the driver was preoccupied with the balaclava-wearing ICE agent trying to force entry into their vehicle to notice another agent stood by the front-left corner of their car. I'm unsure why the agent felt the need to access the vehicle to begin with. I'm assuming they believed it was blocking traffic, in which case they probably should have just told the driver to do one.
Lots of people condemning this are calling her a spotter/observer which suggests she wasn’t an innocent bystander. I’ll find the links.
There are also numerous videos beforehand where there are multiple officers telling her to stop/get out.
Is your viewpoint that she’s an innocent bystander who somehow was t aware of the situation?
I've only watched the video of the shooting - I couldn't even tell you the drivers name. To me she didn't appear to be a bystander. Instead it she appeared to be blocking traffic. If I'd met her in person I'd probably have found her detestable, but I don't think the shooting was warranted.
[deleted]
So I am right? Cheers mate!
She's just trying to drive away. He side stepped the car. He shoots while shes beside him, not in front of him. The wheels are pointed away from the policeman showing a hard right lock on the steering wheel because she was just turning away trying to escape.
Was it stupid? Yes.
Was it worth of getting shot? No.
Would anyone have died had that bullet not been shot? No chance.
Odds are she didn't even see her killer, as she was probably focused on the ICE guy trying to open her door.
Also, he needlessly put himself in harms way. Why would you step in front of a car?
She literally tried to drive over a man. There are two coppers there. One to her left and one directly in front.
I know this is reddit but
Won’t suffice here.
These people are domestic terrorists.
ICE are a legitimate government agency rounding up foreign criminals. This scenario shouldn’t even be conceivable.
[deleted]
This woman is a US citizen. She’s driving a two ton vehicle at legitimate law enforcement officers who’re executing orders to search for and remove foreigners.
You can be as glib as you want but states enforcing borders is normal. ICE have consistently been attacked, DOXXED and had major politicians use incendiary rhetoric against them.
It’s doesn’t matter what your hypothetical Gloria does but if private citizens or illegals consistently attack agents of the state to enact political change then yes they’re terrorists.
She literally didn't though. I'm aware there are two police officers. Neither is in the line of her car when they start shooting. The shooter steps to his right, is then beside the car and out of danger, then he starts shooting. Inexcusable.
Another fun instance of people watching the same video and seeing totally different events. I'm always interested when this happens.
Answer me this. Had he not shot her, would he have died? Watch the video again and answer that question truthfully.
https://x.com/cernovich/status/2008986835763216548?s=46
This is one angle. I have another in my back bin. Couple of points
Why is she there. ICE are basically the US version of border force looking for illegal foreigners which is a legitimate action.
I’m not normally but I am in this case. Sell me an alternate version. Why was she there and how can you justify using a two tonne car to ram police

US agency kills US civilian, in the BBC's (BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation) mind this is front page UK news, is the top story, and deserves a live feed, because of course it does because naturally it is *extremely* relevant to the UK... Oh wait, no it isn't?
If it happened during warmer months, with the context of recent stuff in that specificstate plus the Maduro situation, that would have set off riots in that state, but its very snowy in that place at the moment so thats good
It's kinda interesting the governor guy has said he might deploy the national guard against ICE.
Isn't that how a civil war can start?
We’ll have people protesting ICE and police brutality here come next weekend
It's not the top news story on the 10 o clock news on TV.
I guess it's kinda breaking news which is why it's top on the web- does the BBC website have a big audience in the US?
Took me ages to find a video on X because of OSA and because X seems to suspend your account if you use a VPN.
Eventually found one and it's quite a shocking video to see in a western democracy. Totally unjustified shooting.
https://x.com/houtan_esq/status/2008967912833663083
Its the biggest story on BBCs 10pm news after the Tanker that was seized.
The BBC website for international visitors is different to the one we would visit
I wouldn't try to justify it for a second, it is rightfully a scandal that needs to be addressed in the strongest terms... in the US. I don't see its relevance to the UK at all. Unless we're suddenly answerable to the actions of all Western democracies?
I mean it's pretty relevant in terms of news?
I expect there will protests in response.
And if ICE kill a few more people like that I could see a general deterioration in the political situation in the US in terms of civil unrest, which could have global ramifications.
Rioter tries to run copper over and gets shot.
We don't hear about the endless murders of police officers in the states, so why highlight this story?

Of course the BBC cares more than the NYT.
We need a serious political discussion around this I think. Being so heavily up Americas arse is not healthy culturally.
This is a yank local news story and realistically no Brits need to hear about it unless they go searching for it.
No doubt they will be asking every British politician they come across in the coming days what they think about the matter, as if it's anything to do with them what is happening in fucking Minneapolis.
If any MP thinks it's worthwhile chiming in on social media about this issue (which no doubt they will), they should paint a huge target on their back given it would show their head is elsewhere, believing it is within their remit to discuss at length what should only be considered as a domestic issue in a foreign country.
[one of the] kc135s involved in the Bella-1 seizure passed over my house on its way back to mildenhall this afternoon. "World events" starting to feel pretty close to home.
They're hoping for the next George Floyd moment, they'll push every event that could turn into riots
Concerning Farage’s stance on troops being sent to Ukraine whenever the war is over, I can’t help but roll my eyes.
Yes, Nigel, we can afford to spare a brigade or two, several thousand men at most. This isn’t Germany in the Cold War.
All the fuckers here willing to put boots on the ground in some backwater shithole are all going to sign up to serve, are they? Get fucked. Nigel's right.
What has ukraine ever done for us? Theyre not in NATO and wont be giving us anything for the trouble and likely will vote against in every UN resolution.
They're now the second biggest army in Europe with extremely decent fighting experience of modern land wars, and will be the lynch pin of any European defence against Russia (especially if the US fucks off). They also have arguably better drone production than we do
They are a new marcher state, a militarily powerful one, that can complete the ring fence which boxes Russia out of Eastern Europe once and for all. The geopolitical benefits of that are enormous.
He's worried about upsetting Daddy Putin. Not to sound like some FBPE twat but at what point does Occam's Razor come into effect when comes to Nigel and Russia?
He's riding a wave sewn by the powers that be over immigration but that doesn't mean he's not keenly aware of the Rubles to Sterling exchange rate. You'd think the potential of the nightmare scenario of a Russophile leading one of NATOs only nuclear powers during a period of Russian aggression would force the establishment to actually listen to the electorate over immigration but here we are.
Everyone has at least one wrong opinion. This is Nigels.
It's a fair point he made I feel. We don't want to end up in a situation where we end up in Ukraine in perpetuity. The UK should only be interested in what it can extract for its own gain before the likes of France etc get their hands on it.
Yeah, I don't buy into the idea that he's compromised, but he sure gives plenty of ammunition to his detractors when it comes to Russia.
I think he needs to commit to increasing troop numbers.
We need to show we can act in our own interests and that we will stand on business, however I don’t think we should be bluffing. My fear is that a deployment to Ukraine would be a token force that when pushed draws us into a war we are not ready for.
I believe he has already committed to increasing troop numbers.
But given that British and French brigades would sodomise Russian divisions, and that war with us is war with America, Russia will grumble but play ball. Ukraine has almost broken their army, so goodness knows what a proper NATO battle group with air support would do to them.
I agree. I think this Paris summit, alongside the tanker seizure is the start of the West firmly squeezing Putin's knackers and letting him know he's run out of road.

The thread on Nige not wanting to send British troops into Ukraine is quite something.
They are desperate for white working class men to die in Starmergrad
The whole point is that they wouldn't die because Russia wouldn't fucking dare, and if they did then the Russian Armed Forces in the region would be levelled, it's the entire purpose of a tripwire force. It is in the UK's strategic interest not to let Russia have their way with whoever they please. It would simply be an extension of British forces being based in Eastern Europe anyway. Where is this rhetoric every time British troops are deployed to the Baltics?
You wouldn't be in the firing line, would you princess. Grow some fucking balls.
So they’re there to possibly die, and if they do die we’ll send more men after them to also die for Donbas? But hey, at least we’ve levelled the Russian army (after we’ve sustained a number of casualties ourselves).
I have no issue with tripwire forces in principle, but one really has to consider what’s worth actually fighting for, as that’s the entire point of a deterrent force. Is eastern Ukraine, really?
With every single deployment there's risk of death, it's kind of part and parcel of joining the military... we're not exactly breaking new ground here are we chief?
Russia wouldn't dare invoke the response that would occur from the UK and her allies' if British troops were hit. Their entire purpose would be to make sure Russia didn't get any silly ideas. And yes, as I've already stated, it is within the UK's interests not to allow Russia to gallivant where it pleases, and let's not pretend it's just the Donbass, that ship has long sailed. Then again your name is Shill, so it's not entirely surprising that this is your angle. At least you're open about it.
Yes, which is why you have to work out the marginal benefit and cost of each deployment. The issue following an attack on any tripwire force is whether the marginal benefit of intervention outweighs the marginal cost of the (many) more deaths that would occur as a result of said intervention. While the intervention is intended to be as close to automatic as possible, in reality that’s not how rational actors work. One can easily be in a position where British troops are killed in Ukraine, for no purpose, and the Russian army is far from levelled.
I don’t believe Russia should gallivant where they please, they’re a hostile state. But tell me, why couldn’t we get the same benefit of immediate response by having Ukraine join NATO and be subject to Article 5, without necessarily stationing troops on the Russian border?
Haha shill accusations as soon as someone states anything remotely hesitant re Ukraine, thought your lot were confined to ukpol.
>One can easily be in a position where British troops are killed in Ukraine, for no purpose, and the Russian army is far from levelled.
Are you aware quite how much firepower is stationed in Eastern Europe...? Or that in the grand scheme of things it's not exactly far away and assets could easily be moved eastwards?
>why couldn’t we get the same benefit of immediate response by having Ukraine join NATO and be subject to Article 5, without necessarily stationing troops on the Russian border?
This would achieve the exact same outcome... And if anything would remove the potential scenario of a proportional response (i.e you hit us, we will hit you back 10x harder) vs Member of NATO has been invaded, all guns blazing response. That hypothetical also ignores the fact that countries such as Hungary and Slovakia would fight against any such move without a change in government.
>Haha shill accusations as soon as someone states anything remotely hesitant re Ukraine, thought your lot were confined to ukpol.
No, the shill accusation comes after you gave it the whole "British lives for Donbass?" and proceeded to ignore the wider picture entirely (i.e it's much more than just the Donbass, you're diminishing Russia's goals and actions by implying it's 'just the donbass'). It is however, utterly odd that you see Ukraine NATO membership as feasible but not British boots on the ground. The shill was more of a play on your username than a genuine accusation anyway.
>thought your lot were confined to ukpol.
Been here for a lot more years than you have, bud.
The Donbas thing was more of a reference to Bismarck’s Pomeranian grenadier quote, which has much applicability. NATO membership does not have the same outcome, the deterrent works differently, even if the principle is similar. Principally, the point of a tripwire force is to die, while NATO is to coordinate a mass response. Shill accusations/jokes are boring anyway, my username is a reference to 2016.
Let’s take a hypothetical. Say Russian hits a ‘plausible deniability’ strike in eastern Ukraine, blaming pro-Ukrainian terrorists or some other such nonsense, that kills a dozen British soldiers. What do you think would happen? Would we level the Russian army?
You can wheel out the quote for anything though. UK lives for Poland in the Second World War?! What relevance does Germany invading Poland have to the UK????? I mean it was quoted, or words to that effect, regularly using Danzig as an example in Nazi propaganda, wasn't it? '*Why die for Danzig?*'
>Principally, the point of a tripwire force is to die
No it isn't, it's literally a deterrent designed to make adversaries not want to take one step further without triggering a mine, or in this case a response.
>Say Russian hits a ‘plausible deniability’ strike in eastern Ukraine, blaming pro-Ukrainian terrorists or some other such nonsense, that kills a dozen British soldiers. What do you think would happen? Would we level the Russian army?
Yes. Otherwise we would be complete fools for believing Russia at their word, our intelligence services would have utterly failed us, and we would have needlessly dangled British lives and proven that everything we say are simply empty words.
No Vatnik ever called me Gammon
Gentlemen, our four leaved friend has another piece of
foolsgold.Guess the school racism claims have become old hat.
While we have Starmer who’s been Longhoused by his wife into vegetarianism, the official White House account is tweeting about the Trump administration’s new food guidelines:
Tweet + new food pyramid

This isn't my main account. This is my meak and mild account I use on my phone.
I asked a question on the UK beer sub.
It was fundinmently a question as to whether you'd like purer beers with less chemicals like the Germans do.
I'm now banned.
Why is every sub full of cuntish mods? Talk about having a beer made with only malts, water, yeast and hops, and you get a ban.
My new laptop arrives tomorrow, and I have no fucking idea of any of my passwords or shit, and I do question if it's even worth the fucking effort.
Uk beer needs cask ale/ real ale to be legally protected and encouraged
That American inspired craft piss that brew dog makes should be thrown into the sea
One of the YouTube channels is pushing for that.
Your mistake is visiting other subreddits.

My post history was hidden.
It's funny though because I have 88 in my username for almost no reason, and guess what they pick up on?!!!
Fuck knows how anyone could not be banned from any sub.
Mods can see post history even if hidden; normal users cannot.
Is that right?
That's just pathetic.
I'll just make myself a mod of some fucking stupid sub them.
It's only if you post in their sub…so if someone posts here I can see their posts whether they hide them or not. It's not across all users.
This account has been very amicable.
New laptop tomorrow. New account. And I really don't know if I can be assed.
I’m convinced I am banned from other subreddit for commenting here. The timings are too convenient.
I'm still banned from pics and a bunch of normie subreddits for posting in lockdownskepticism during the madness.
It is not worth it no.
The other issue is that the admins are gutless and won't do anything about these mods.
Yeah, but this is UK beer. I thought the mods would be called Clive, run and antique shop in the Cotswolds, go for a pint of ale after work, and have a Labrador called Clive too.
Nope. Reddit cunts on a power trip.
It's fucking weird.
For some reason yank craft beer culture infected this country too instead of just continuing the ale and pub culture. I assume thats the cause of the problem you've got with the UK Beer subreddit. But I can't check because my landline internet is down, I can't VPN when tethered to my phone and its categorised as an adult subreddit.
My problem is that UK beer is an alienation of European beer, and I got banned from the UK underslash beer sub for suggesting that we could benefit from similar laws.
This is the only semi-normal British subreddit, a few others but they usually get nuked.
I know matey. I was talking about beer. And then I come across other subs and they talk about some really nasty shit, but I get banned for a suggestion that UK beer could be of a higher quality.
Fucking backwards cock sockets.
Someone on the ‘muh weed should be legal’ thread on askbrits (which I got banned from immediately on the day I made a new account has just said this. Thank god I’m banned. On my phone so apologise for the crap editing
‘I wouldn't really say this is a left leaning government. It gets touted as the left whilst it's being slated, because then those on the right look attractive. But this government is right leaning I would say’
I sometimes wonder what this type of person would consider a left wing government
Nothing, there is no true left wing to these people. Their left wing is a utopia that is never achieved so there's no left government to them.
Anything fully automated luxury communism
Nothing is private, even your nutsack is nationalised.
One headed by someone like this
Had myself a nice little yookay experience, got an uber to work
1) guy called md accepted, 50 year old man at least judging by photo
2) much younger bomalian shows up
3) drives like a nutter, hits three kerbs on the ten minute drive
4) so glad to make it to office alive I forget to report the driver
I've gone back to using regular taxi firms. The apps have the same functionality, you get better drivers, it works on a normal queue system and its normally cheaper to boot.
Yes. People need to stop giving money to the gig economy all together. No deliveroo, no uber, etc. These are illegal worker mills.
Some of the action to Laila Cunningham being Reform’s candidate for London Mayor is completely deranged. And I say that as someone who is ‘racist’ by normal standards.
She’s a good pick under the current conditions of mass democracy. Yes, obviously it would be better if we required certain conditions to be eligible to vote, but that’s not going to happen any time soon. She’s certainly better than a coke head like Ant Middleton who will inevitably end up posting an absurdly fake story (Sainsbury’s now only sells HALAL bacon!!!!) that will then be used to discredit his campaign and Reform more widely.
Needs to be a muslim because London is muslim.
The ideal situation would be to abolish the position of Mayor and make it a ministerial department instead.
Don’t care, she’s fit.
More seriously, she’s a very very liberal Muslim. Wouldn’t be surprised if she’s non-practising behind closed doors.
She's non practicing in public…where's her hijab? She's non practicing by being allowed out without her husband…
Ali G Nationalism reigns.

This is completely reasonable, the attempt to make out that there’s some Islamist cabal controlling Farage is ridiculous. Farage is the brand and will be the PM if Reform win, he can drop these people.

Please sir can I have growth my economy is dying
I will vote for anyone who pledges to nuke the bats and newts.
BOG (Bat occupied government)
The same Lib Dem NIMBYs will be happy for this precedent when that Sikh couple want to extend the Stables.
There must be potential bats within a few miles of most of the country? How was anything ever built
Obviously it's the latest flavour of the month excuse to say no to anything being built.
Something being built is the exception to the rule now.
Bats are evil cunts, there's a reason they are associated with the living dead.
One of these horrors flew into the house when I was a kid and scared the shit out of 7 year old me (put me right off my Enoch Powell memoir and bitter and mild I tell you). One of my fondest memories of my old man is him catching the brute in a towel and flinging it out onto the lawn. Looking back he was also probably freaked out but he kept face and didn't let the incident put him off his rothmans and dire straits tape.
Lmao, potential bats, no evidence of them, but potential
Maybe when Labour said they were going to make growth their priority maybe they meant bat population not the economy
