Elephant pregnancies are almost 2 years. I know nothing about elephant development but that doesn't look like 2+ years of growth to me. So I'm guessing 2nd elephant is like my cat and must sleep on anyone who is sleeping, including an old man he's never met before who fell asleep sitting on a bench.
Just as some extra cute, I once fell asleep cuddling my cat then woke up with a toy mouse on my shoulder. He'd woken before me but decided I shouldn't be left alone.

A couple of my cats would do this when I was sick - I'd wake up with their favorite toys right next to me.
