The addiction doctor part just came after a doctor friend became an addict and he wanted to actually help people after that
Our family dentist closed up my cousins old gauge holes in his ears. He did it for free too because he “thought he could probably do it”, and you know what, he did a great job!
This made me laugh cause one of the plastic surgeons I used to work with was a dentist before going to plastics. Everyone that worked with him was in agreement that he would NEVER work on any of us, because his work was so bad lol.
Those surgeons should lose their licenses if their clients start looking like this. That's obviously taking advantage of people with body dysmorphia for a paycheck.

The tourists/locals there were taunting her badly and taking videos of her and she was getting very upset by it. She did find some friends along the way, but before she left to Thailand someone in her comment section said she got rid of all her belongings.
So I think she wanted to travel, and then she always knew she was going to end it. Very sad.
It struck me as very strange. Thai people are known for their hospitality. Mary deserved better in this life. I wish she had been able to get help. I didn’t know too much about her but she seemed like a good person who went through a lot of trauma. 33 is so young.

My former roommate works at a tattoo removal clinic. She makes a killing off face tat regrets. A lot of her clients were former addicts/ wannabe tough guys.
A big one was people getting their 2016-2019 eyebrow tatts faded. A lot of women got their brows done thinking that they would fade (as advertised) but were scammed with brows looked like they were done with a marker.
I followed her for sometime. A complicated but kind and creative soul. I didn’t agree with her choices or aesthetic but you could tell she had a lot of love for the world. RIP
I dont know why, but ive always had a very soft spot in my heart for her, even years before the viral 2018 headline. I always hoped we'd eventually see her settle into herself and appear happy. I wanted peace for her so badly. This is kinda tearing me apart
I’ve been really sad about this! She was genuinely a very talented artist, I know the internet will just reduce her down to ‘fattest vagina OF tattoo lady’ but you can tell she was a creative and interesting soul who undoubtedly went through a lot in her life. I followed her for a few years and there were times she would get more sober and seemed happier, and there was always a feeling that she might turn a corner one day and find a way to be more at peace. It’s so, so tragic that she died and the finality of it.

The amount of self-hate she must have felt absolutely breaks my heart. She started tattooing her entire body black-almost as if she was trying to erase herself. The amount of pain she must have been in from the procedures, infections, exploded implants, etc must have been unreal. It suck's to think that this must have felt like the only way for her to find peace.

I've seen some extreme things like that too. I was assessing someone who was referred for gender Dysphoria. They had a double mastectomy, hysterectomy, and salpingectomy. Seemed pretty open and shut.

I met her in Miami which is mad as I'm from the UK and had been following her for years, she was just in the same nightclub as me, she was really sweet but wasted, I didn't even share the photos of us as she was clearly so unwell bless her. I hope she's at peace now.

I’d never heard of her but thinking of her all alone and crying because no one would help hurts my feelings. That’s so very sad.

I don't find facial tattoos to be inherently a red flag, but these ones were. Essentially literally scratching out your face is sad. I remember hearing about her after she got this done. Her surgeries also seem so reckless that they were essentially suicidal. she was not just doing body modifications but trying desperately to erase her identity and risking things like blindness, body parts falling off, and death to do so. She didn't care because she probably knew she wasn't going to be existing in her body for long, and wanted to die anyways

My former roommate works at a tattoo removal clinic. She makes a killing off face tat regrets. A lot of her clients were former addicts/ wannabe tough guys. A big one was people getting their 2016-2019 eyebrow tatts faded. A lot of women got their brows done thinking that they would fade (as advertised) but were scammed with brows looked like they were done with a marker.
I followed her for sometime. A complicated but kind and creative soul. I didn’t agree with her choices or aesthetic but you could tell she had a lot of love for the world. RIP
I dont know why, but ive always had a very soft spot in my heart for her, even years before the viral 2018 headline. I always hoped we'd eventually see her settle into herself and appear happy. I wanted peace for her so badly. This is kinda tearing me apart
I’ve been really sad about this! She was genuinely a very talented artist, I know the internet will just reduce her down to ‘fattest vagina OF tattoo lady’ but you can tell she was a creative and interesting soul who undoubtedly went through a lot in her life. I followed her for a few years and there were times she would get more sober and seemed happier, and there was always a feeling that she might turn a corner one day and find a way to be more at peace. It’s so, so tragic that she died and the finality of it.

The amount of self-hate she must have felt absolutely breaks my heart. She started tattooing her entire body black-almost as if she was trying to erase herself. The amount of pain she must have been in from the procedures, infections, exploded implants, etc must have been unreal. It suck's to think that this must have felt like the only way for her to find peace.

I've seen some extreme things like that too. I was assessing someone who was referred for gender Dysphoria. They had a double mastectomy, hysterectomy, and salpingectomy. Seemed pretty open and shut.

I don’t really think she was trying to fix anything with her (longtime follower of hers) she just was very interested in extreme body modifications and got bored easily with her looks. But she was very aware what she was doing was dangerous. She would talk about how she asked ChatGPT how long she had to live with 24 litres of fluid injected into her butt or something… she’s like I technically shouldn’t be alive with this. Earlier this year she almost lost her eye after tattooing it in some shady tattoo shop in Mexico. No doubt she was deeply disturbed and has major mental issues - but her response to body dysmorphia comments was she just was interested in extreme body modifications.
When are we gonna diagnose these people appropriately and not dismiss them as something freaky or funny. Body dysmorphia is a serious disorder.

Seriously, it's so sad, I'm sad. She was obviously a complex person, but she had some depth, whether I understood it or not. I mean, her art is fucking incredible. I wish she would have made her art available for sale, because I would have dropped more than I can afford to own some of her art.
I sent her a few messages on insta asking for a commission piece or to purchase one of her pieces. She politely declined. I was really hoping she would pursue her art more, she was so talented.

Her death was definitely planned by her (I believe anyways) . She mentioned on a live while in Thailand that her art is in a safe space that her brother is taking care of. So who knows, maybe you will get a chance to purchase her art one day.

There was something about her. Such an interesting person. I followed for years too, she had been posting really frequently the last few weeks and seemed unwell. All the videos she posted she was rambling about weird shit, but she also mentioned that she was trying to get better and take steps to improve her life and mental health. Poor girl.
