Karen Carney is in the Strictly final tonight and I believe if she won, she'd be the first person with an autism diagnosis to win? But if not, definitely the first woman and I think that's pretty cool. She's spoken a bit on her podcast about planes being her special interest and it's nice to have someone visible for girls in sport to look to.
If you fancy voting for her, it opens at around 7:30pm tonight at bbc.co.uk/strictly you get 5 free votes per account made, and you can make as many as you like!
She has never stated she is autistic, she is an adhder though, and I don’t know if she’s a good dancer or not, but surely the best dancer should win and their neurotype is not relevant in a dancing competition.
