Not me personally, but I've been sitting a few metres away when a Pelican charged at an old man eating a burger, steal the burger out of his hands and eat it himself!
Local kookaburras swoop past when cutting firewood. Their wings will clip your face as they pass to catch the spiders and insects escaping the firewood.
Mudlark. Twice, a week apart in the same spot, I assume it was the same little shit both times. A friend was swooped by a butcher bird, he said it drew blood, which i can believe.
I've only ever been swooped by noisy miners
Sharon down at the pub can get abit fiesty
Shazza swooped on me a few times as well!!! And yes, she can be a bit feisty 😜
Came to say Tanya and Tracey, but that Shazz...
Which pub? Asking for a friend.
Butcher bird cut me under the eye. Father's day 2020. It went for me and my eldest. Left my little 2 year old alone.
Magpies, mudlarks and plovers
A local Willy Wagtail has shaped up more than once
Not exactly ‘swooped’, but a cassowary approached me very quickly, expecting food… (previous owner of the house probably fed it)
Omg terrifying
Wattlebird.Â
Not sure on the exact species but I was swooped by a nesting wattlebird last year. Must have been on a sugar high.Â
When my cat is in the catio, I immediately know as the wattle birds are so quick to yell and shout about it! This doesn't surprise me

I've never been swooped. I'm on excellent terms with all my neighbours; and so word has spread throughout the community that I'm a BirdFriend.
Wedge-tailed eagle - definitely the scariest experience I’ve had with a bird.
Masked lap wings (plover), Magpie-larks (pee-wee), and Friarbirds.
Helped a myna whose baby was stuck in water, the whole damn family cursed my name and swooped me, that and a willy wagtail, they are fiesty

None yet. I want to be swooped at least once in my life 😆
I was swooped and chased by a barn owl
