Tablet with a keyboard that you can attach and remove because they can serve as a tablet and somewhat as a computer. They are not as heavy as well. You can download all the apps for school. Make sure you choose one with good storage and battery life. That is what I do.
Lenovo laptops. Don’t do chromebooks unless you don’t have the money for Lenovo, because many applications aren’t compatible with chrome OS. IMO chromebooks are worst than tablets so if it’s comes down to chromebooks or tablets, tablets.
i like chromebooks but someone i know used a tablet for whatever reason (i never asked) and he got minecraft on it and was able to do an assignment in minecraft so that was pretty cool
I study mainly maths - I take Maths FM and physics, and my other subject is Econ which is a lot of graph sketching. A laptop would’ve been less useful to me than straight pen and paper, whereas for an English student it would be very useful since they type up a lot of stuff
Personally I love my tablet and the flexibility it gives me, esp with an attachable keyboard, but if you’re looking for computational power and stuff youd be better off with a laptop
Laptop, because it makes typing a lot easier and faster and allows you to do stuff quicker, and is better for research assignments (at least in my experience)
I'd personally pick a good quality laptop over a light one. Sure, the light one is super easy to bring to school, but having a laptop with a larger screen, more storage, and better specs in general just eliminates the need for a separate machine for home use. I'm using an ASUS Creator laptop with an OLED screen, it can edit videos for school projects, run some games, and operate google docs smooth as butter. If you already have a good PC, I would just pick up a tablet since those are probably cheaper (?), but if you've got nothing, I would just take a good laptop.
I find a laptop to be better because I like having a physical keyboard and mouse. There are usually more software that are compatible for laptops too.
Bro finally took his meds

laptops, even better if they have touch
Laptops. When writing papers I find it much easier to navigate with a mouse thingy than with my fat fingers
Laptop ftw. Unless you can't type properly, but keyboard is tyupically faster to take notes than writing on your ipad

i like chromebooks but someone i know used a tablet for whatever reason (i never asked) and he got minecraft on it and was able to do an assignment in minecraft so that was pretty cool
Tablet does the work on a budget. Laptop is better in general (unless it's a macbook ts sucks)
Laptops are better in my opinion, as it’s a lot easier to type faster. I generally prefer typing essays out on a physical keyboard to one on a screen
