Hi everyone,
I’m in a bit of a bind. I don’t celebrate Christmas and I’m spending it solo this year. To make matters worse, I have a major internet outage at home that won't be fixed until after the holidays, and my mobile hotspot data is very limited.
Normally, until yesterday, I’d head over to the Humboldt UB or the FU libraries, but they are all closed for the winter break.
Since I live near a station with a fast connection to BER (FEX/RE8), I’m considering taking the train there to get some work/study done. Does anyone know if there are good spots in the public area (landside) with:
Power outlets? (Most important)
Desks or tables suitable for a laptop?
Are there specific cafes in T1 or T2 that are "laptop-friendly" during the holidays?
I know the airport is open 24/7, but I want to make sure I don't end up sitting on the floor searching for a plug. Thanks in advance for the help and happy holidays to those celebrating!
you could rent a nap pod in T1. they have plugs and a lil desk and wifi!
Laptop friendly cafes might be open and would probably be easier (and cheaper if you are forced to buy / rent anything).
Coworking spaces might also be open and have day passes
Plot twist: you don't have a connection to BER with RE8.
there is a starbucks before security, at T1, 1st floor.
You could check out the Berlin universities as well. Some Foyer buildings might be open.
Why not try a hotel lobby instead?
