The time where this would be a very bad thing however, is if you happened to cause an infestation of spiders by stomping them, but if you know about the multiply factor beforehand, then you’ll likely try your best to not squish them beforehand.

What about the ecosystem though if they effectively can’t be killed they will over populate, no predators would be able to keep their population down and multiple bug species would go extinct
The meme only said that they will multiply when squashed and not that they can't be killed, so it's fine. Plus if anything, it would provide practically limitless food source predators by exploiting the wish, and it's only a problem to people who have the tendency to squash spiders, really.

Plus spiders are already good hunters without wings.
