she mentioned in the comments how she was tagged directly in some of these posts this is so violating, and I can’t help but feel sick at the thought at what their generating and not posting.
Let that sink in: there are generative models that could paste any woman into the most vile and disgusting fetishes of the most twisted individuals out there.
this happened (someone using generative models to deepfake female streamers into porn) and was a big controversy on twitch like 2-3 years ago
a streamer named atrioc accidentally pulled up his porn tab on live and showed that he was on a PAID ai porn page OF HIS PERSONAL FRIENDS. like, other female streamers that he interacted with regularly and he was known to be friends with. maya higa and pokimane were two of them.
one of the women he had on the page was HIS BEST FRIEND’S GIRLFRIEND. so fucking nasty
he has tried to rehab his image, including doing a lot of charity work to stop ai deepfake porn (again, trying to rehab his image lol). personally i just can’t get the bad taste out of my mouth
but dude seems to be flourishing regardless of my opinion, c’est la vie!
i was at a party a few months ago and this dude was hyping up a video about conspiracy theories to me. and i was like, “that sounds sick, who’s it by?” he says, “atrioc.” i go, “the ai porn guy?” 😭
he then tried to be like “oh i mean yeah but he’s really cool now and he apologized and he made money to help etc etc”
i was like (not aloud, obviously) well, now i’m going to forever suspect that this person watches deepfake celebrity porn LOL
My fav part of this btw is him publicly voting for trump, because ofc he'd vote for a convicted rapist
It's kinda why I don't think he hasn't changed really... His actual actions show that he does not care for the women around him which you know should be the change you should strive for after sexualising and making deepfakes of your colleagues/co-workers
I don't particularly like the guy, but he definitely didn't seriously endorse Trump.
I also think there's room for someone to genuinely apologize and rehabilitate themselves from a mistake (especially when that mistake causes indirect harm rather than direct harm.)
Whether he's earned that or not is up to the individual, but I think the only way we get out of being increasingly polarized as a society is to learn to forgive people who genuinely try to fix their mistakes.
personally i just can’t get the bad taste out of my mouth
I'm so glad someone else feels this way. Almost everyone else I come across who knows about this incident is all "but he apologized and made amends 🥺". Sure, but imo some things are unforgivable. Some lines you simply do not cross in the first place. If I were his friend and he made porn of me I would never speak to him again no matter how many times he apologized or how much money he spent to get the deep fakes taken down. The internet is forever and given how obsessive people are about their porn there's no way to fully remove it once it's been made.
I think it's reasonable to say that someone who did something that violating should be deplatformed. I do think morally speaking there's something to be said about forgiveness and grace but being able to maintain and keep your platform after something like that doesn't make sense to me. Wanting him to lose his fame and platform is different than condemning him forever.
I used to watch him ALL THE TIME. He was one of my favorite YouTubers and now I can’t even scroll past Atrioc’s thumbnails without getting major ick. I haven’t watch a single one of his videos since. And it’s not even from a moral stance (although what he did was extremely disgusting), it’s more like ewww dude I can’t even take you seriously anymore.
As much as the whole thing was awful, he did actually pioneer a solution to make taking down that content dramatically cheaper for streamers. I can respect that, and I can’t really think of much he could do to rehab his image more in regard to that image. Hell, even some of his friends like QT and maya said as much.
I enjoy his content sometimes, but I do think the thing ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth as well. I can appreciate a creator actually putting the work in to make good on his promises, that is unfortunately very rare.
The fact that he seems to be one of the few cases where he actually reflected and took action to make amends makes me respect that. I didn’t know about this controversy before and it does leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and I understand why some people won’t look past it. I personally think that if someone takes steps to make amends, it should at least be acknowledged.
Just don't bring it up in a streamer community. Because according to them it was out of context, and wasn't so bad, and he's apologized, and is forgiven, and everything is good now and no one should ever mention it again.
And every time I see those comments appear, I assume that they're so defensive because they sit around jerking it to generated content of their friends.
FWIW the content creators that publicly outed him (Ludwog/QT, among others) have all forgiven him. His "excuse" for having the AI porn website up on his computer was that he was doing research on how to take them down. And then he spent $50,000 creating a system to take them down. He's the reason they don't exist anymore and you don't hear about it anymore.
Someone also created AI generated images of Taylor Swift being gang raped at a Chiefs game. If it can happen to someone as proactive about her security as Taylor Swift, it can happen to anyone. Only ordinary people like you and me won’t know about it when it happens and don’t have the resources to stop it.
Until someone creates some truly awful garbage of the men who push and benefit from this technology and either, floods social media with it, or manages to get it in a public space that leads to public disgust.
There was a whole video of Donald Trump licking Elon Musk's feet posted in a government building. If that didn't move the needle, I don't know what will. NSFL
The best friend’s girlfriend mentioned in the post you’re replying to, at the time, talked about how she had to pay an agency about 10k$ per month to try to keep that stuff offline as best she could.
And it didn’t catch everything, and she knew that realistically she couldn’t completely stop these people at her level.
I couldn’t imagine being a public figure and having people sexualize me against my will to this extreme. It’s already bad enough just existing as a woman in some places, but this is constant, everywhere and so much more extreme.
"Security" won't make a difference when you can train a Low-Rank Adaptation model on a handful of publicly available photos. If you've posted a selfie online then someone can probably generate lifelike images of you.
Women tend to care, but they're not the main consumers of this stuff
What is it with our culture that such a disproportionate amount of men don't care about consent...
I remember how growing up it was considered normal for boys and men to talk about getting girls/women drunk, or similar methods/lies to get around their consent.
The way 18yo's are fetishized too. Such pedo energy.
he took a 6 month break and donated like 100k to anti-deepfake organizations and started one of his own working with his best friends gf, one of the people on the stream. idk what else he could’ve done to apologize
I think most people would rather him not exist anymore instead of try to fix his clear fuck ups. I genuinely don't know what else the dude could do beyond stopping his career and living the rest of his life on the streets.
Well, I can imagine, but reddit won't like it if I use bad words. Strange days all around.
On the page he accidentally leaked it didn't show that he was looking at his best friend's girlfriend. Everybody assumed he did (including me) cause his best friend's girlfriend broke down crying and had an anxiety attack about it.
Guy was still creepy as hell for doing that, but it if his actual best friend's girlfriends was in his results that would've been insane.
This is what people defending AI tend to conviniently forget, like AI is their company lol, this shit is nasty, not regulated at all. You can train a porn model on civit ai with 4 or 5 photos of someone. as long as you pay
Yeah the problem here isn’t how gross a fetish is. “It’s wrong because it’s gross” is awful fucking logic and has been the same driving force for a lot of queerphobia.
It’s the depiction and use of someone’s image without their consent, all the more made revolting by trying to look REALISTIC, that’s the problem here. I fucking hate Gen AI but if they were just making pictures of some random non descript woman to goon to that would be one thing, but the fact that they’re taking a real person’s likeness to try to trick people is such a horrid violation of consent and privacy.
that's always been a thing, from photoshop to painting, it's always been possible.
difference now is that it's quick and easy and anyone can do it with almost no talent, and of course it's very hard to tell that it's fake and going to get even harder.
Even leaving that horrifying possibility to one side, people should have the right to not have their likeness or work used without compensation or at least a request for permission.
The worst part, the pictures that they're using as the basis for these ai fantasies, was very possibly freely given away on FB or Instagram or any of the other sites where your IP rights disappear the second you agree to the ToS.
I looked it up apparently Congress did at least one thing this year which was pass a law against non consensual intimate imagery. It was part of an effort also involving fighting election interference. The law is called the take it down act. It might be shaky though because the supreme court has decided cross burning does not equal threat of racial violence. In the same way, they might decide images of someone having sex does not equal threat of sexual violence - using the image anywhere would still be against long standing laws about likeness.
There are very strong first amendment protections in the US, so the courts may need to intervene and change some of the applications of this law. Of course, it's by and large relatively powerful and influential people whose images get used unfairly, so reasonably good chance the law will stick. Because of oligarchy essentially, but in this case it's a good thing.
Edit: the oligarchy remark because imagine everyone in Congress looking to the left and to the right and being like no you are not going to fuck up my reelection by making a video of us all having sex
Jesus, reddit really likes to go too far, yes exactly, should be illegal but not rape, just imagine a girl seeing herself then going on tiktok like "OMG they raped me", so stupid. It would affect real rape victims.
Same with the nacis, they were so much worse then tesla owners.
I agree this is shitty but "rape" ??? Beside the notion of not having the consent none of that even relates to rape in the slightest, please choose your words better...
That term is closer, but now you have the issue of it sounding "weaker" than the crime as opposed to "stronger" like the term "rape".
It really just needs am entirely new legal term to go along with new laws. Using existing terms will actually complicate the process of prosecuting these assholes because the existing case law/letter of the law for stuff like "sexual assault" or "sexual harassment" won't neatly apply to these cases. And a good lawyer will use that as a wedge to get them out.
We need laws that are clear cut and account for the unique technological aspect of this crime.
We need entirely new laws/criminal charges. Trying to stretch the meaning of the existing ones to cover this do not work. It just weakens public perception against the term "rape" since it isn't the same. Some states have already started with new laws, but we do need a new unique term for the crime that is commonly accepted.
Example: Its a third degree felony in Florida now to create, solicit any kind of deepfake porn or "Altered sexual depictions". Its also a third degree felony to "willfully and maliciously promote, or possess" such images. It has a lot of caveats (i.e. it has to be an identifiable person and not just an imaginary character, it has to depict something that they didn't actually do, etc.), but in general its a decent law. Laws around "possession" can get really tricky in any situation, but it at least codifies the need for it to be both "willful and malicious".
people just being hyperbolic like this only hurts their cause. no one is going to take you seriously if you think this is the same as sexual assault or rape.
This isnt rape. Its disgusting, and invasive, and morally objectionable - but its not in the realm of actual rape. I am fine with this sort of activity coming with legal consequence, and should include the perpetrator paying heavy damages to the target.
It's definitely gross and a violation, but to put the creation of fake images of your likeness on the same level as having your actual body violated... that is an egregiously unhinged opinion and an insult to survivors of rape.
Theoretically you could stop some of the major U.S. based companies (never going to happen because these companies control the country).
They would never attempt to prove/penalize the countless people using AI for x/y/z.
On top of that, anyone can just download public models and use them locally. Even if major AI companies in the U.S. for example, were forced to shut down? They would relocate, if not? Other companies in other countries would fill that void.
edit: Love when illiterates respond, yes oh enlightened one. What are your solutions?
It varies by state. But since it is not outwardly sexual (in a legal definition), it wouldn't be illegal in most or maybe even all of the US. No idea about other countries.
Don’t worry if a country wants to make it illegal they have ALL the means to make it and force companies to censor all of these things but yeah ummm gouvernements aren’t really doing good things these days
What is this photo? I zoomed in thinking the wheel was just a red circle trying to point something out. After staring at it for about a minute or two I gave up and when I zoomed out I noticed it’s a bike wheel. Now I’ve been starting at the whole photo for like five minutes trying to figure out why he has a bike mounted in his living room and in such a weird place!
What benefit does ai bring to society at all? I can’t figure out what this adds to life besides causing us to doubt everything we see. Or giving bad actors an easy out when they’re caught doing bad shit and they just claim it’s AI.
I haven’t met a person who is glad this bullshit exists. It just lends legitimacy to things that previously could not afford or gain it. Billions of people are going to be scammed out of their money via it.
And yet the same nazi billionaires funding this are telling you that feminism, sjw, dei, Communism, black mermaids and smaller tits in Lara Croft (*) are THE END OF WESTERN CIVILISATION.
(*) Lara Croft only had "huge" tits in the first game cover
I still don’t understand why we made this. The LLM chatbots, I can at least understand their utility. But AI image gen? At best, it’s a cool novelty, a diversion, a toy. At worst, it’s so fucking vile it doesn’t seem like it was worth creating in the first place.
The first is that they don't need to pay artists any more. They don't need to deal with artists refusing to do certain things, or make their art for a specific purpose. The plagiarism machine just spits it out.
Secondly, this allows for the creation of so much doubt. We are basically at the point where photographic or video evidence isn't reliable.
Photo of Musk on the Island, doing what we all know he does? Well now he just says " that's AI" and a bunch of people will believe him.
Third - propaganda creation. There was a recent case of a guy using AI video to make a street "more Arabic" so he could convince his audience that Muslims were destroying the UK's culture.
They just wanted a product and don’t care who is hurt or destroyed to continue with the product. People who make huge amounts of money from LLM companies are pretty fucking evil a lot of the time
This is the main reason I don’t support ai, people get used left and right as models for people’s sick fantasies which violates the privacy and safety of others, the worst part is that it can eventually get children to be involved in this as well.
not even "eventually" anymore, there have been dozens of arrests made globally for men making CP and CSAM using AI and selling it in telegram groups for profit 💔
I think most folks who use ai constantly and casually don’t know about this consequence. Sadly I think for them to change their minds, it will take something extreme being done with one of their photos or a photo of their kids. This is also why I think parents need to be way more careful about all the photos of their kids/grandkids they are putting online.
I expect some AI pros to reply something along the lines of:
"B-but but! It democratises uhh art and uhhh it's uhh fine because she's a porn actress and those don't have like privacy or personal desires so really well like there's nothing that bad about it"
And, while the more reasonable AI fans will agree that these people are weird, they'll still somehow find a way to refute any request to regulate AI.
Omg yes omg yesssss. I’m so happy to see people talking regulation. I thought I was going insane, it felt like no one cared about stopping actual harm and just wanted to dunk on people with AI boyfriends
This! Especially hammering that last bit. These AI companies are doing this shit on purpose. They like the bad behaviors. Beat their butts by taking away their money or fkn prosecute their ass
Watch the pros defend this shit too. Gen-Ai is one of the shittiest and needless things devised by human mittens. It truly is for one thing, making fakes of anything all the way from “Art”, to porn, to media, to deepfakes, and (coming soon)political disinformation. There is no upside to Gen-Ai, they are trying to make Ai lawyers and make chat bots of dead people too.
Well i have something to say. In my country app for chatting with strangers there is a account when someone pretends to be her. He use her pics and claim he is her and when you confront him about that he blocks you. He was reporter mamy times but i guess he have multiple accounts. What is disgusting he do that to manipulate others to share thiers pictures specially more risky ones and he pretends he is a lesbian.
I seen that woman pictures for years and I dont even known she is something like influencer (i guess)
Do not trust strangers in internet, and remember you dont owe them nothing!
You guys don't get it, it's crucial for curing the cancer and if you don't like your relatives being pasted with AI into vilest shit then it's genocide.
Since you’re not anti-AI, hopefully this helps you to understand why so many of us are. I think there are absolutely some benefits to generative AI in certain situations, but the potential for harm (and the actual harm that has already been done) due to generative AI is not worth any of those benefits, IMO.
This tech should have never been released at scale to consumers; it should have been limited to a few industries (e.g. medicine, assistive aids for people with documented disabilities, etc) where it can actually do some good. Generative AI is destroying higher education, polluting the internet with slop, and being used in extremely unethical ways that cause real harm to real people (non-consensual porn, CSAM, “granny scams” using deepfaked audio & video to scam elderly people out of huge sums of money, etc).
This is just the tip of the iceberg, and it’s going to get so much worse because so many people are so fucked up and can’t be trusted to use this tech ethically.
She SHOULD NOT have blurred their faces, let the world see how lonely and creepy these fucks are. They didn't think once before using her's , neither did the AI, so why give them the benefit of privacy?
I know the women led subs have been warning of this for a while, but the warning is good for everyone:
Erase your social media presence, especially don't upload pictures of children. The kinds of people who will happily distribute revenge porn and CSA now have a fucking tool that can put you or a child in the most disgusting situations imaginable and share it.
To elaborate on this, it's normally done by making a mini model trained on a subject, and then using that with a larger model.
It used to be that it took 50-100 good quality images to make a mini model..... you can do it with 1 now. It's better to use a huge number like 5-10 images, but it doesn't take much.
Usually people use the mini models to do stuff like add an anime character, type of car, or for a new artstyle.... but it's very easy to train them on actual people to do this stuff.
I like this idea, but I feel like from then on the politicians would just cry "it's AI !" every time a problematic photo of them surfaced... Although they probably already do that tbf.
There is a ttrpg called Symbaroum and in the concept art, many people wear masks. There are changeling in that setting who can imitate the faces of people and (I am not sure if it is just Fan lore or actual lore) people wear those masks so changelings can't "steal" their faces. I think about this a lot when I am confronted with stuff like this. Perhaps we should start putting on masks too.
I just had a conversation on an AI sub about this topic. I don’t see how generative image generation is a benefit to anyone but scammers, degenerates, and deviants. The fact that you can just be shoved into all these scenarios is insane. And yes, it’s worse than photoshop because the person generating the image isn’t just placing you into another image. They’re generating a new image of you entirely. It’s violating your privacy on multiple levels.
Christ man, there’s a lawsuit coming in the future and my god I’m here for it. These ai tools need to be reigned in, or at least just checked and balanced.
I literally saw an ad yesterday for an App for doing exactly that, putting you into a pic of someone you think is attractive. Who??...who is so pathetic to even think about doing that?
This is weird, but wait until people start fabricanting fake evidence of crimes to incriminate people and the line becomes thinner to distinguish them from real life.
(It´s already happening, kinda).
Let that sink in: there are generative models that could paste any woman into the most vile and disgusting fetishes of the most twisted individuals out there.

Holy hell
yeah sorry to break the news LOL. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/atrioc-deepfake-pornography-controversy

i was like (not aloud, obviously) well, now i’m going to forever suspect that this person watches deepfake celebrity porn LOL
tbh you should have said that aloud, to his face. some people dont care about following awful people until they realize the shit can smear on them too
My fav part of this btw is him publicly voting for trump, because ofc he'd vote for a convicted rapist
It's kinda why I don't think he hasn't changed really... His actual actions show that he does not care for the women around him which you know should be the change you should strive for after sexualising and making deepfakes of your colleagues/co-workers
The man is no saint but saying he ever supported Trump is a blatant lie.
He does do the whole sarcasm bit to a fault though so I don't blame you for making this assumption.
FWIW lately the content I've seen of him has been explaining why Trump is completely fucking it up for everyone... So I dunno, maybe he's changed...
Sounds to me like he expected the fucking it up to not hit himself.
I don't particularly like the guy, but he definitely didn't seriously endorse Trump.

Whether he's earned that or not is up to the individual, but I think the only way we get out of being increasingly polarized as a society is to learn to forgive people who genuinely try to fix their mistakes.
so are you classifying making ai porn of your friends without their knowledge and consent as a "mistake" that hes been "rehabilitated" from?
What are you talking about. He is not a trump voter and has been against trump for years. Stop spreading misinformation
I'm so glad someone else feels this way. Almost everyone else I come across who knows about this incident is all "but he apologized and made amends 🥺". Sure, but imo some things are unforgivable. It's perfectly reasonable. He got it away with it for who knows how long, and now all he has to do is hide it better. Credibility gone.
I used to watch him ALL THE TIME. He was one of my favorite YouTubers and now I can’t even scroll past Atrioc’s thumbnails without getting major ick. I haven’t watch a single one of his videos since. I guess if disgraced pedophiles could still maintain a following, so too could ai deepfake gooners.
Just don't bring it up in a streamer community. Because according to them it was out of context, and wasn't so bad, and he's apologized, and is forgiven, and everything is good now and no one should ever mention it again.

WOW that’s fucking horrifying. i am really shocked i didn’t hear about that one (my username is a taylor swift reference lol)
extremely scary that it can be produced to begin with and scarier that people are consuming it with no concern for how they’re breaking their brain
I can’t believe that didn’t lead to anything regulatory. The biggest popstar was sexually harassed on that scale and it was just forgotten.
Until someone creates some truly awful garbage of the men who push and benefit from this technology and either, floods social media with it, or manages to get it in a public space that leads to public disgust.
Very little will happen.
There was a whole video of Donald Trump licking Elon Musk's feet posted in a government building. If that didn't move the needle, I don't know what will. NSFL

Sadly not. Too many people who don't care or do the same as him anyway

So you’d think…
Ohhhhhh.... Atrioc? Fuuuuuuuuuck I just found his chanel
Gonna add more context or just end the story there?
She forgave him btw
relevant video here - he didn’t just try to bury this and move on for anyone interested.
On the page he accidentally leaked it didn't show that he was looking at his best friend's girlfriend. Everybody assumed he did (including me) cause his best friend's girlfriend broke down crying and had an anxiety attack about it.

Silly you assume they don't use AI exactly for this.
I'm fairly sure porn makes up for >75% of AI image generation anyway.
Let’s be real - them posting pics with her and tagging her is their way of saying “ive made worse for my own use”
Yes, this is a very clear threat of future shocks. These people need to be investigated and potentially locked away.
Thanks for reminding me, that this is more or less on the "harmless" side.
Thats so disgusting
Hey man, there's ethical fetishists out there. Leave them out of this!
Yeah the problem here isn’t how gross a fetish is. “It’s wrong because it’s gross” is awful fucking logic and has been the same driving force for a lot of queerphobia.

It's currently happening A LOT and I'm not even exaggerating, with both adults and minors
And ai bros will defend that, because they have no morals
Unfortunately, some AI bros defend that, saying “Well, it’s not like it’s actually you. You can just say it’s AI lol”
As if that doesn’t make it incredibly violating.
And psychologically damaging to kids, young adults, the vulnerable and mentally unwell. My preteen niece has already suffered from a boy in her class.
Why do that when you can just browse her OnlyFans?
One removes consent and they like that.
There has been cases which highschoolers did deep IA fake on classmate into porn
Dear god… handholding. What kind of sick bastard does that?! Firing squad, aim for the legs.
that's always been a thing, from photoshop to painting, it's always been possible.
difference now is that it's quick and easy and anyone can do it with almost no talent, and of course it's very hard to tell that it's fake and going to get even harder.
Even leaving that horrifying possibility to one side, people should have the right to not have their likeness or work used without compensation or at least a request for permission.
There was a teacher (maybe two, but I’m unsure) who got arrested this year for making Ai generated CSAM of his students.
The worst part, the pictures that they're using as the basis for these ai fantasies, was very possibly freely given away on FB or Instagram or any of the other sites where your IP rights disappear the second you agree to the ToS.
Digital rape. I’m not joking or being hyperbolic when I say these people should be arrested for this
technically digital rape refers to the insertion of the digits (your fingers or toes) without consent I agree but we need a new name.
Virtual Rape?
AI rape
Why does the name Donald Trump immediately spring to mind??
The most powerful and prominent pedophile on God's green Earth? wouldn't have a clue.
King pedo they call him
cyber sexual harassment
Digital Voyeurism?
It's disgusting, should be illegal, but it's not rape. Please stop with that.
Second, when every sexual misconduct is rape, real rape victims are affected the most.
Beside the notion of not having the consent none of that even relates to rape in the slightest, please choose your words better...
sexual assault?
Sexual harassment
That term is closer, but now you have the issue of it sounding "weaker" than the crime as opposed to "stronger" like the term "rape".
It really just needs am entirely new legal term to go along with new laws. Using existing terms will actually complicate the process of prosecuting these assholes because the existing case law/letter of the law for stuff like "sexual assault" or "sexual harassment" won't neatly apply to these cases. And a good lawyer will use that as a wedge to get them out.
We need laws that are clear cut and account for the unique technological aspect of this crime.
Assault, I believe, requires physical contact
Sexual harassment would be more accurate.
yeah i'm really weirded out by the use of the word rape. Next you'll have a victim of a photoshop attack telling rape victims to not invalidate them.
Yeah sensationalism like that can become weaponized very quickly. That is not a word that should be used lightly.
Laws around "possession" can get really tricky in any situation, but it at least codifies the need for it to be both "willful and malicious".
https://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=0800-0899/0836/Sections/0836.13.html
people just being hyperbolic like this only hurts their cause. no one is going to take you seriously if you think this is the same as sexual assault or rape.
This isnt rape. Its disgusting, and invasive, and morally objectionable - but its not in the realm of actual rape. I am fine with this sort of activity coming with legal consequence, and should include the perpetrator paying heavy damages to the target.
Fucking reddit 😂😂
Minimizing rape is disgusting. Be better.
It's definitely gross and a violation, but to put the creation of fake images of your likeness on the same level as having your actual body violated... that is an egregiously unhinged opinion and an insult to survivors of rape.
How does calling this "Digital rape" have so many upvotes? holy fuck you are unhinged comparing this in any way to real rape.
they should make it illegal to do this
Both the person who commissioned it from the machine and the people who own the machine should be liable.
We did not consent for you to train your sex machine off of our faces.
AI is a pandoras box that cant be closed now.
As if we didn't find ways to cope with all the previous Pandora's Boxes we created. Stop this fatalistic nonsense please.
I think it is illegal to do this, it's literally a deepfake
It varies by state. But since it is not outwardly sexual (in a legal definition), it wouldn't be illegal in most or maybe even all of the US. No idea about other countries.
It's impossible, you can run models locally and generate child porn without people ever knowing.
We opened a Pandora's Box.
Don’t worry if a country wants to make it illegal they have ALL the means to make it and force companies to censor all of these things but yeah ummm gouvernements aren’t really doing good things these days
Ai models are kinda opaque and there's no way of policing image generation that is being run locally.
But they never will because that'd hurt the corporate overlords
I think they tried to but Elon musk got rid of it
of course it was elon musk
Holy shit that is terrifying
Seriously horrifying to think about.😰

What is this photo? I zoomed in thinking the wheel was just a red circle trying to point something out. After staring at it for about a minute or two I gave up and when I zoomed out I noticed it’s a bike wheel. Now I’ve been starting at the whole photo for like five minutes trying to figure out why he has a bike mounted in his living room and in such a weird place!
bike is mounted on the wall so that is doesn't takes up less
source: my roommate has it mounted very similarly
I think this is a shot from unfriended
Screenshot from the movie Unfriended: Dark Web (2018), about fucked up usage of technology,
It's quite decent from what I remember, had more fantasy elements and better than the first
This is some extremely disgusting shit
people get so parasocial that they either kill the influencer or kill themselves. what benefit does AI bring to society by enabling this behavior???
What benefit does ai bring to society at all? I can’t figure out what this adds to life besides causing us to doubt everything we see. Or giving bad actors an easy out when they’re caught doing bad shit and they just claim it’s AI.
I haven’t met a person who is glad this bullshit exists. It just lends legitimacy to things that previously could not afford or gain it. Billions of people are going to be scammed out of their money via it.
Generative AI is vile and should be regulated to high hell.
There is AI that actually helps in medical (and scientific overall) breakthroughs, though
Also frame gen is a godsend given the pc part market right now
Money
And yet the same nazi billionaires funding this are telling you that feminism, sjw, dei, Communism, black mermaids and smaller tits in Lara Croft (*) are THE END OF WESTERN CIVILISATION.
(*) Lara Croft only had "huge" tits in the first game cover
This is disgusting. No one is consenting to this vile filth.
I still don’t understand why we made this. The LLM chatbots, I can at least understand their utility. But AI image gen? At best, it’s a cool novelty, a diversion, a toy. At worst, it’s so fucking vile it doesn’t seem like it was worth creating in the first place.
Political propaganda.
There's three benefits for the rich pricks.
Thats the thing because it was a novelty and a way to show investors look at the progress we have!
Also CEOs don't want to pay artists or photographers so just AI it!
I mean our current economy kinda encourages the behavior. Even more than other forms of the economy. In a way we made the tech capitalist monsters
Now that’s even worse, I just hope the other kids could recover from this :(
I think most folks who use ai constantly and casually don’t know about this consequence.
Already have someone saying that
They are also trying to make it seem like no big deal by arguing that photoshop can do that too.
That is like comparing a knife to an assault rifle when it comes to murder. Point is, AI makes it easier, WAYYYYY easier and thus more accessible.
Not saying generative AI should be forbidden (would be great though) but we need laws, desperately.
Omg yes omg yesssss. I’m so happy to see people talking regulation. I thought I was going insane, it felt like no one cared about stopping actual harm and just wanted to dunk on people with AI boyfriends
This is really frightening! Can’t imagine all the weirdness goin on…
2025: the year where consent and respect goes to die.
It's the second model I've seen this week having this kind of issues.
The other had a guy sending her a sex video featuring her generated by AI.
Wtf? How is that not a criminal offense ???
It is
According to AI Bros : this is peak !
Low quality AI, completly dulled down her crucial features...
But real issue is.
in the 80 creeps would do paper cutouts.
Then there were Photoshops. Better or worse.
Now we have generative AI that can do that at scale, with higher fidelity. ANd with much less effort from the creep.
And with theoretical profit to the AI corporation
This! Especially hammering that last bit. These AI companies are doing this shit on purpose. They like the bad behaviors. Beat their butts by taking away their money or fkn prosecute their ass
They know that she wouldn’t let them hit.
i hope she can sue them for this
https://preview.redd.it/9ey8yll18y7g1.png?width=582&format=png&auto=webp&s=800496eb29d6b6ec7571548d8100bd5ce3c4f5cc
Oh God.. that's terrifying.
AI bros be like: if she didn't want people publishing these images she should've never posted herself on the internet
It's because most AI bros support this happening, or engage in it themselves.
Its always the fucking weridos. She should sue.
[removed]
But why use ai for this? Isnt it defeating the point?
Sub: antiAI
Sure lemme just post AI what could go wrong
Why would you post an AI image of all things?
Resetting...
It may be the end of the market of influencers.
Watch the pros defend this shit too. Gen-Ai is one of the shittiest and needless things devised by human mittens. It truly is for one thing, making fakes of anything all the way from “Art”, to porn, to media, to deepfakes, and (coming soon)political disinformation. There is no upside to Gen-Ai, they are trying to make Ai lawyers and make chat bots of dead people too.
https://i.redd.it/u33y0xanfy7g1.gif
This is only the start, things will get more creppier the more we go
I feel so sorry for her shame on this
Those fuckasses need to be arrested, holy shit.
The mental gymnastics ai bros will have to do to defend this
And ai bros are throwing tantrums and call us luddites when we explain the dangers of ai …
I'd feel uneasy if this shit happened to me in any context, but i would be scared for my life if i was pasted into a photo by some girl i don't know.
I hope the girl affected here is safe. AI needs to go.
Like i say always, this is the type of stuff the AI bros DEFEND btw.
I saw people doing this trend with baby photos of celebs, mostly mashing them with their own baby photos but still it’s… an odd use of free will
Well i have something to say.
Do not trust strangers in internet, and remember you dont owe them nothing!
we should make a law that defines what AI can do, or better AI should be destroyed
https://preview.redd.it/rwpm4suyiy7g1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=468b528347f01b809c6d86cc92500372b82760fe
Y'know what maybe it's our fault for letting existence continue
You guys don't get it, it's crucial for curing the cancer and if you don't like your relatives being pasted with AI into vilest shit then it's genocide.
Average ai "artist" behavior
Not an anti. This is gross.
Wtf?!
This is one of the main reasons why I hate generative AI so much. There are few things in this world that I hate more than generative AI.
She SHOULD NOT have blurred their faces, let the world see how lonely and creepy these fucks are. They didn't think once before using her's , neither did the AI, so why give them the benefit of privacy?
Those are the softest images he has
People that do this need to be on a list
Start flooding the internet with stuff like this but using politicians and see how quickly they start regulating it.
I like this idea, but I feel like from then on the politicians would just cry "it's AI !" every time a problematic photo of them surfaced... Although they probably already do that tbf.
Oh no........wtf.
What if the entire Internet had a complete reset?
There is a ttrpg called Symbaroum and in the concept art, many people wear masks. There are changeling in that setting who can imitate the faces of people and (I am not sure if it is just Fan lore or actual lore) people wear those masks so changelings can't "steal" their faces. I think about this a lot when I am confronted with stuff like this. Perhaps we should start putting on masks too.
This is creepy....
It was half as bizzare when it was people I only heard about. It's twice more bizarre when it's people I recognize. Literally what the fuck
Gross
Christ man, there’s a lawsuit coming in the future and my god I’m here for it. These ai tools need to be reigned in, or at least just checked and balanced.
Just gonna drop this here.
https://preview.redd.it/zue77ha5zy7g1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d01f8ba07a3be341f5873a185fc4569bcbdd7097
Most deepfake technology is used for who guessed it.
Dear god, there are so many disgusting people in these comments….
I literally saw an ad yesterday for an App for doing exactly that, putting you into a pic of someone you think is attractive. Who??...who is so pathetic to even think about doing that?
Actually insane. She already makes the fun kind of content for an audience. The fact they feel the need to go farther and creepier is telling.
This is just stalking in the next high level with Ai slop
That is terryfying
https://preview.redd.it/7qat9rggqz7g1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=297b733139ec0483229e0484a07dc24523013851
Anyway im gonna copyright my face and personal data
WTF
That’s why I’m off of social media 👍
This is weird, but wait until people start fabricanting fake evidence of crimes to incriminate people and the line becomes thinner to distinguish them from real life.
(It´s already happening, kinda).
And Ai bros will still defend this
Disgusting, we gotta have the creeps who do that arrested
To be fair tho, she doeas onlyfans, which is a whole other problem, but in this case it only helps to make these kinds of obsessions happen.
Don't get me wrong, no one "deserves" this treatment, but her selling naked picks and sexting on the internet only worsens the whole situation.
