I think she used to have 3 personalities (Shiki, SHIKI, and Void), but now she only has 2 (Shiki and Void). Highly recommend watching it, although it's pretty dark and violent. She also makes an appearance in Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code. I also recommend playing that.

Nobody knows her and the anime also reduced her to fanservice, but in the manga (Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist), Astaroth is insanely badass. Like, every scene she's in, they first do an establishing shot to remind you of how cool she is. She pilots a flying Hell battleship. She rules over almost a quarter of Hell. She commands legions of dragons. She can predict the future. She's also an awesome single mom whose ex-husband is still pining after her centuries after their divorce (and she bagged him before that, when he was already a king but she was yet to ascend in rank, so this was not a political thing). She was already a queen in life, and not just any queen, she was Hatshepsut. She is so incredibly badass that she had to be pretty much written out of the second half of the series because she'd knock some sense into all those idiots around lol, and even her exit scene somehow managed to disrupt plans that would kick off the literal apocalypse.
