You've never had it really bad when you haven't had one of those "hugging toilet seat while puking" moments (to stabilize/anchor your upper body onto the seat more easily due to low energy)

That said why not? I usually wipe my seat anyway and theres really no big difference in terms of skin between putting your arm or butt on the seat really as long as the toilet hygene is kept up

I do keep it clean as well but I guess I have more .... mental block of touching it directly maybe I'm just weird like that lol

You probably wont have that mental block if it ever happens to you, trust me disgust is the least of your concern when vomiting is the only way you feel like you will survive, and the mental block can also push you to do it since youd rather not have puke all over your floors. Yeah, pray it never happens to you.

On my last food poisoning I had to use my arms on the bowl to stabilize myself so I wouldn't drown myself.

So yea... If you're bad enough you kinda stop caring in the moment and you can take a shower and clean afterwards :'D
