Really cute how Luna was pointing out all of Otori’s works in the festival. He was getting all flustered and everything lol.

After seeing Luna’s mom, I’m kind of curious what her dad is like. Is he also very silly?

How does the granny and her house with fine weather exist underground? Probably vampire magic? Lol!

Does Luna have better vampire genes than her mother? Luna can move about with ease under the sun, but her mother appears to be affected by sunlight. Or maybe Luna's mother just wants to be picked up / fetched from her home. Lol!

Luna already aggressively advertising Otori's work and effort, even before they are an official couple. :)

A very fun and lovely episode featuring the school festival that Ishikawa and Otori have a great time.

But for me, the star of today's episode was definitely Shirayuri, Luna's mother and, I'd say, the true embodiment of the MILF concept ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

We finally get to meet Luna's mom, and she's just as dorky as her daughter. We didn't get to see Luna's dad since he's away, but I can already tell from his portrait that he's the type of guy who loves to dote on his daughter.

That black dress she wore to school was goddamn sexy tho! And she's even voiced by Mamiko Noto! Shirayuri definitely is a top MILF. I do wonder why she can't go out in the sun when Luna is perfectly fine out in the sun.

I'm glad to see Mama Shirayuri recognizes how much Ootori has helped Luna. I'm sure she'll approve if Luna ends up dating Ootori.

What a lovely episode 💖✨

It felt like the elevator kinda transported them to a different world lol.. I wouldn't even call that a dungeon but a different dimension. Clumsy and scary vampire mommy was a sight for sore eyes 😘😘🫶.. Now we know where Ishikawa got her traits.

The maid cafe was a hit and Otori's art even made a lot of people gather at the entrance ❤️.. Ishikawa's final act of throwing candies from the sky while flying was cool.

In the end, Otori and Ishikawa were sleeping peacefully after all the hardwork they put for the school festival was so adorable to watch. Shirayuri, Misuzu, Misa, Sakuma can't get enough of them..❤️❤️

Im surprised Shirayuri could fit under that table, but it makes me wonder if she has a chibi form like her daughter.

Nice festival episode, and it's always good to get another anime mom.

Otori gets a lap pillow for his troubles, briefly that is before Ishikawa turns chibi again and falls asleep. It was nice seeing him get public credit for all the festival prep work he did.

It was a lovely episode, i loved seeing Ishikawa and Otori having fun at the festival that was adorable. It’s a bit cute how Ishikawa mom is just like her, but just a bit more nervous and easily scared but still want to make friends. The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree lol.

Looking forward to seeing the dad, is his personality a dad who love and  spoils his wife and daughter ?  Does that mean that Ishikawa family is rich?

Man, there were so many cute character designs as bg chars in this episode

Oh my god that animation of her flying through the air was so smooth? ...And also thanks for the belly even though her shirt was tucked into her pants in every other scene lol

Fuckin wild that the SoL has more fluid and consistent animation than One Punch Man S3.

Random Thoughts:

Kind of disappointing we didn't spend more time at Luna's home, but hey we got to meet her mom. Clearly Luna gets her personality from mom given how awkward the mother was. Although it's interesting that her mother is much more classically vampiric, with greater sensitivity to the sun, and she seems to more easily fall into a menacing form rather than a cute chibi form. Makes me wonder if Luna's differences are due to age, or if she isn't a pure vampire. I can't remember if the portrait of her ?dad? had vampire ears or not, but he otherwise seemed pretty normal.

I mean, the show hasn't exactly been subtle about the Ishikawa family being wealthy, but I still wasn't expecting what, from a quick peek, looked like a whole underground world, Wonder Egg Priority style. You know what they say - if you aren't rich after 200 years, just step into the sun. (Though there's been no indication that vampires in this show are immortal or even particularly long-lived, but it's kinda part of the trope so...)

Lol at fucking Deguchi (I always say "fucking Deguchi" aloud when he appears because it's funny and what kind of name is Deguchi anyway lmao) not getting to match outfits with Luna. Sometimes you just need to get in the メイド服...

I'm starting to run out of ways to say "this episode was outsourced to the almost exact same group of less than 50 people as last episode". At this point they could reuse the same credits for every episode and I doubt even the actual people being credited would notice. The animation sure does continue to hold up well, though.

I love how Shirayuri's weak to sunlight unlike her daughter & gets scary when smiling nervously.

Luna loves to spoil Tatsuta by complimenting his works & briefly gave him a lap pillow while telling him he worked hard before chibifying herself to sleep on his head. I never aww'd so loudly when Luna was sleeping on Tatsuta's head.

I was scared that more attractions would get publicity because of Luna but luckily it's just the other class's curry.

Is the afterparty on the same night or another day?

I love how Tatsuta, Eiko & Misa all pictured Luna as a crying baby because she'd definitely cry if she'd got lost.

I love the animation of Luna's post festival closing show performance.

I love how their class included the males in wearing maid uniforms instead of making them butlers.
