Hey! So I took some antibiotics about a month and a had ago and me and my bf had protected sex (I’m on the pill) several times during that, he also withdraws every single time. However, I learned about 2 weeks after taking the antibiotics that it can reduce the efficiency of the birth control pills. I’m currently freaking out mainly because my stomach is definitely feeling a little weird, and I can’t suck in naturally without it causing pain. I did have 2 cycles since the antibiotics, but I do know that birth control “periods” are not period and are withdrawal bleeds, so I’m worried that these bleeds r not good indicators that I’m not pregnant. I also am currently not in an environment where I can purchase a pregnancy test. I just want some peace of mind if anyone could possibly give me some, or any advice. Thank you :)
Also want to add that the cycles have been regular, during placebo week 4-5 days long and regular heaviness.
the only antibiotics that affect birth control are antibiotics used to treat tuberculosis.

Unless you were treated for tuberculosis then you're fine. That's the only antibiotic that will mess with birth control.
