The time for OP to take action on this to mitigate the hair loss was about 6 years ago. I think the only answer here is for him to take the plunge and pull out the clippers.

I don’t agree with many of the comments. You should absolutely get on dutasteride, oral minoxidil 5mg and dermastamping 1.5mm ASAP. Whatever you have left can be thickened which would then compensate for all the areas you have nothing whatsoever.
You could probably get a lot of your hair back by getting on finasteride/dutasteride and minoxidil, and using ketoconazole shampoo. The longer you leave it though the harder it is to get it back.
There are a lot of people on here saying you've left it too long, you're only 26, there are guys who are in their 30's and 40's who have created posts right here on reddit after starting a hair recovery process after 20 years of shaving their bald heads and have had incredible results. So you could certainly try and will quite possibly have fantastic results!

To be honest it's too late for finasteride and minoxidil. I'd shave it if I were you. Always hair transplant as an option but it'll be expensive

Maybe get some products for your beard and try to grow your beard out more

Minoxidil will never help this. You have refused an actual anti-balding drug for too long. You needed Finasteride long ago.
