If it's true there is non human intelligence out there, somewhere, everywhere, anywhere, or all of the above; that means we too are aliens in their eyes correct?
Is knowledge of our existence playing a part or impacting the lives of other beings? This doesn't apply to every believer (in the truth), but I think it's fair to say a lot of time, energy, effort and discussion is put into proving the existence of aliens, NHI, ETs, beings, or whatever, and that they are here. My question is why?
Granted I'm partially playing devils advocate, but if we wake up tomorrow to undeniable proof, the believers still believe, the non believers either change their minds, don't care, or remain non believers, and the largest group of people, the 3M'ers (mortgage, married, and money), probably respond with something like, "Holy crap, that's pretty cool," finish their coffeee and head to work.
People often state, myself included, it would be the greatest or biggest discovery since the existence of mankind. As things are right now, would undeniable proof be the biggest thing ever? I'm gonna say no. So they are real, here, and been here for decades, hundreds, or thousands of years and their existence has influenced what?
They are remain elusive, maybe, a BIG maybe they have interacted, might be interacting with world leaders, but by and large they aren't impacting our lives one way or the other. Should we expect that to change? Is our existence affecting beings on planet Xyz, or from dimension AminusBsquared?
I think the majority (50.1 to 89.9%, anyone's guess), of people really don't and won't care they exist until it impacts their lives. Photographic proof, disclosure from the powers that be, or a crashed saucer on the Whitehouse lawn, doesn't really change anything.
Proof* is not life altering until "they" decide to interact with us in a public way.
*I understand proof is important to people who have been labeled liars, crazy, or laughed at for the claims they make.

Your being controlled, what you're being shown is curated. You already knew, but have you questioned to what extent
You’re talking about the disappointment that the universe doesn’t rearrange itself around human feelings.
Not aliens.
If that's a more poetic way of saying "my, your, ours, people's," universe is more important to the individual than the actual universe, then yes. I'm saying between my football team winning Sunday, my daughter doing well in school or learning the truth about aliens... aliens comes in third and I suspect that doesn't shock most people.
You’re proving the point again… you keep translating a structural question into a personal one.
Your priorities aren’t the argument, it’s the assumption beneath them that is.
You're right about the part that I won't care unless it impacts my life. Their existence or nonexistence currently has zero impact in my life. I've believed in aliens my entire conscious life. I am not a religious person, so it doesn't conflict with my faith. We have been witnessing their craft for a very long time. Until they come and start directly interfering with my life, I just genuinely don't care. If they show up and tell me they're my god and I should kneel down and worship them and be subservient or something, I'd probably rebel or kill myself (not considering the soul aspect some people are going on about). If they were to come and offer us their technology for the greater good of the planet, I doubt the powers that be on this planet would let that tech out to the general public and would control it for themselves and perhaps sell it to us. If that were the case and the aliens had the power to stop those world leaders, those world leaders would probably try to fight back, sending countless people to slaughter, and likely causing retaliation.
I'm just a normal person living a simple life. I try to do good, and I hope to leave this planet in just a little bit better condition than when I was brought into it. I help wildlife in as many was as I can (and currently working towards being a part of larger conservation efforts). I try to treat other people right and care deeply for the ones that are in my life. I trust scientists and researchers to do good work. I celebrate the arts. I do what I can, and that's all that I care about. So until an alien directly affects that, I don't really care.
That is really well said and in my opinion a meaningful way to go about our time here. I really appreciate the response.
Aliens/NHI are real.
And? How exactly does that knowledge in any way affect my life? Does it make it so food magically appears on my table and my housing costs disappear? Does it cure my chronic illnesses and fix our political systems? No?
Then I ask again: and?
I "care" that they exist because I think it's stupid to deny their existence. But it still in no way affects my life.
At least you find it interesting enough to talk about.
But yeah, when I'm given information without any idea of how to apply it to my existence, I... don't really know what to do. I'll talk about it and think about it, but if it always remains as an idea and not a reality, then it's difficult to structure my life around it.
It would be the biggest discovery in the history of big discoveries but it wouldn't impact the average person immediately and just as other big discoveries like the Earth revolving around the Sun, Plate Tectonics, Evolution, DNA and Quantum Entanglement, the average person didn't really care when these made headlines. The average person just doesn't care about science stories which do not directly impact their lives immediately, no matter how big, for more than a day or so, that's especially true today.
The most likely outcome would be similar to after Sputnik became the first human made object put into orbit.
More kids might become interested in becoming astrobiologists like more kids became interested in becoming rocket scientists, engineers and astronauts in the late 50s through the 70s.
Great response. Makes a lot of sense.
Thank you!
If they are real, we have probably felt their presence since the dawn of time. Lovecraft and Fort warned us, but we looked the other way, dismissing it as mere fantasy, as pure fiction. When one of the orbital gods commanded Moses not to look upon Him (lest a mortal lose his mind at the sight of the tentacles emerging from His mouth), Moses closed his eyes and obeyed. We were told not to look, Indiana Jones knew this all too well, and so we regularly try not to transgress too far, or too often. Our primitive minds could burn out trying to grasp such advanced and alien knowledge.
For thousands of years, we have lived sensing their presence, barely grasping the fact that they are out there, right at the edge of our vision. And yet, there is so little we can do about it. What difference would it make, to know for certain? Better to close our eyes, as Moses did, and hope they are too busy to look back at us.
That is, of course, assuming any of this is true.

This is a really interesting article and makes a lot of sense. Not sure if it confirms, conflicts, or explains my thoughts in a clearly more educated and scientific manner. I think a lot of it confirms what I consider rational behavior. I'm not going to dedicate a lot of my energy on something so out of my control and the implications. Not to mention the truth may not even be known during my lifetime. Probably will read it again, thank you for sending it.
That’s a great little article. I couldn’t agree more with the author’s analysis. I have family members doing the avoidance thing because of the existential stress and cognitive dissonance concerning the topic.
A single reframing of this may provide the answer to your question.
Your assumption is that if they exist, and if they have been here all this time, that they have had no influence over human affairs.
Well what if the above is true, they are here and have been for some time - except for the idea that they have had no influence over us? What if 'they' are advanced beyond us to a degree that we are only now beginning to understand how they have manipulated and influenced us? What if this has been a millennia long situation, where human affairs have always been influenced and manipulated by the 'others'?
It is interesting to consider that this idea is pervasive in mythology. The 'gods' messing with humans.
The biggest issue we face is the hubris of humanity. We are conditioned to anthropocentrism. This is likely the major difficulty we face. Not only are we not alone, but we never have been, and it turns out we are far from the apex species on this planet. Higher order beings have been controlling us as far back as recorded human history.
Maybe you are right that most people will shrug their shoulders and go back to work, but the implications of this are pretty staggering when one takes the time for consideration.
particle physicists don't care football games and alien particle physicists don't care their football games neither
I suspect you are absolutely correct about that.
The guidance I've been receiving has been pointing to a change in our experience of life that is inexplicable. Like the world is going to flip inside-out and upside-down, everything will change.
But it seems to be occurring in small steps, and the big stuff is going on behind the scenes quietly. It's as if the entire game board and set display is being switched out around us, but we aren't noticing. Each time we blink we're in a new world.
I don’t think we should conflate the weirdness and possibility of many-worlds quantum theory of reality with the likelihood that NHI are in fact here. There may be some correlation due to them being more advanced than us and being able to track, plot, and control parallel (for lack of a better term) realities. But we should take these two paradigms as likely unrelated. Otherwise, we may end up with a whole new set of gods and religions; and that’s not something we need.
Whatever is providing me guidance doesn't seem interested in hierarchy - they even tell me I don't need to say "thank you" to them - so once we get out of this stage hopefully we won't have to worry about being tricked into new religions.
So if you're willing to share, I'd be very interested in reading about the guidance you have mentioned a couple times. Not interested in mocking you or trying to tell you you're dreaming or anything like. You can send me a personal message if you don't care to share with everyone to read.
No worries!
In terms of the changes to our experience of the world, the clearest guidance I can summarize has been through dreams and being directed to look at things in the environment (which is just my sight getting drawn somewhere).
In terms of dreams:
In terms of things to look at in the environment:
I've also repeatedly had the intuition that "it's inside" - inside the air, inside the light, a thing folding into itself, inside inside inside.
If I knew any physics they could probably communicate more complicated stuff to me, but I unfortunately don't know jack-shit. If I get the intuition to read up on stuff I do, but I can only understand so much.
Since starting to have these experiences I've been rewatching and gobbling up every sci-fi alien movie I can find (fun side fact: I got the drive to watch Contact on 12/20, which I later found out was the anniversary of Sagan's death). I think the movie Solaris (1972) gets closest to what I'm experiencing in the sense that it's like normal life plus this total bizarreness randomly mixed in. Unlike Solaris though, the experience is not desolate.
I believe the majority of people would be shocked/ life changed if there was real proof, such as huge crafts landing and aliens getting out. The "evidence" that is available now, is mostly a nothing burger.
Yeah if a big craft landed somewhere and aliens got out, that would definitely change things and bring up a lot of questions I imagine.
This is totally hypothetical situation... Let's say your grandfather retired from the CIA, and he was never able to disclose his actual position and job duties because of the classified nature of it all. Twenty or 30 years go by since he retired, and his time is coming to an end. He has always known you, his only grandchild, has been so curious about what he did, and he knows how interested you are about the universe and the potential of alien life out there.
One day he says to you, "If you can keep your mouth shut, I will tell you some of the things I've seen when I was with the agency so unbelievable, you might think I've gone senile. Your grandmother, your mom, neither of them know any of it. It has to stay that way. Can I trust you?"
I assume you say yes. What does he proceed to tell you? Anyone feel free to fill in the blanks with a good story or something you believe to be true.
You are the alien you seek..
It’s basically the oil and gas industries who benefit from keeping the zero point energy systems away from us that’s why they will never tell us about aliens because that’s the First thing we would ask them about
I don't assume they have no influence over human affairs, I don't know. If so, it's widely unknown; it could be for the better, the worse, I have no idea. I thought about that but didn't include it because I was already bordering or full on in the middle of a word salad.
