    Because it's a concentration camp that the US government is using to illegally imprison people they deem political enemies, and it's not illogical to think that will include gay and trans people eventually.

    Also fighting against Nazis is always relevant to LGBT+ people

    Some of the people sent down there were LGBTQ.

    I am sorry that you decided to be rude about that reminder and assume that I am one of the people that doomscroll on reddit several hours a day instead of being offline most of the time living an actual life.
