Ever since I was a little girl, I felt a quiet pull toward Scandinavia β€” especially Sweden. Maybe it’s because my mom used to read so many Astrid Lindgren stories to me. Those books were like doorways into another world: red wooden houses, snowy winters, crackling fires, simple kitchens full of warmth and laughter.

Even now, rereading them brings back that sense of peace and wonder from childhood.

The art style I explored here is inspired by the paintings of Carl Larsson, whose work has always transported me into that same dreamlike, gentle Sweden from long ago β€” where everyday moments feel magical, and home is always full of light.

These images are my little love letter to those memories: to winter evenings by candlelight, to cozy kitchens, to children laughing in the snow, and to that feeling of belonging that never quite leaves you.

I hope they bring you a bit of warmth, nostalgia, and quiet joy too. ✨
