Was saddened to hear of the suicide of "The Wire" actor James Ransone, who went public a few years ago with his lifelong struggles due to CSA he experienced from a tutor when he was 12. He drew a line from that trauma to his issues with drug addiction and self-harm, and it appears he finally lost that fight.

It depressing to learn the the man he accused continued to work with kids for another 30 years and that nothing was done when he finally brought the case to the attention of the police and school officials. Depressing, but not that surprising.

I'm thankful for Ransone's efforts to bring more awareness to boys as abuse victims, and I hope his wife and kids can find some solace in that.
