Good for the SoundCloud era but a decent amount of it now is starting or already has not to age well at all. The songs I mainly listen off this album if I choose to as I really only prefer SoundCloud era X compared to mainstream X are NUMB, Sad, I don’t even speak Spanish and before I close my eyes are the ones I go to.
With 17 he had a somewhat cohesive, memorable debut but with this he took an artistic step back. John Cunningham is way too boring and way too much of a yes man to executive produce anyone’s album.
Him touching a few genres on this album (which his fans often refer to as “versatility”) does not make it inherently better and actually just made it worse and less focused. I think it says a lot that even after all that the biggest and most memorable songs from this are all hip-hop influenced anyway
It’s alright but isn’t aging well and absolutely stinks of 2018 when you listen to it. 17 will forever be way better than this. Would much rather listen to revenge or even the look at me soundtrack
i will never forget the day I listened to changes the first time. breakfast before highschool in the morning, it was spring or summer 2018 i believe. Went to school and showed my best friend the song. he loved changes too. we always listened to it in the car. i miss him. and changes might be my fav song of all time.
I think it's a 9.6/10. This album would be perfect if it didn't have the track "$$$", I never liked it, and I certainly never will, but the rest of the tracks are 10/10. My favorite track on the album is Floor 555, which I actually consider an 11/10.
Not as good as 17 but still good. Just some filler
Great

Huge x fan a few years ago and relistend recently. Pretty great but Its hard to get over just how short his songs are
i got 8000 minutes on this album alone in 2025, so yeah.. shit still slaps
Amazing
most versatile album of all time !
actually fire, unfairly overshadowed by 17 even though ? is superior
I love all the songs except for pain=bestfriend and Floor 55 but overall I love it

It was a good album, outgrew it a long time ago.

Felt like a decent sampler or indication of what he could do in the future rather than a good studio album

One of his best albums 🫶🏻
Great album, imo not as good as 17.
Very versatile but the big singles are quite generic when he was so creative
Favorite album of all-time.
Great album
One of the greatest albums of the 2010’s and X’s best.
