It's probably Queen of the Swarm because I just remembered that Taylor does get burned very badly in that one as well. It's just not in the scene with Sohpia.
I mean, No Good Deed has Sophia kidnapped and tortured before having her doused with gas and torched a bit before Taylor and her dad comes into the scene.
Unpunished shares a lot of the same premise but goes in a completely different direction.
Both fics are unfinished but both do really well with what I believe that the authors were going for.

Hmm, just in case you are mixing things up.
Queen of the Swarm has Sophia torturing a damage adaptive Taylor but no fire.
Adaptation has a damage adapter Taylor getting burned, but Sohpia was not involved.
I doubt either of these are what you are looking for, but I have seen someone combine two fics on this kind of request before. So, just to be safe.
