You get a ”you were complemented” message in the bottom-right of your sceen at the port after a battle if you get a complement. I think it’s visible in the notification menu too.
Not 100% on reports, I’ve heard you get it if you were reported twice or more in a match.
yeah from my testing you only get a notification if you've been reported more than once in a match. if you only get 1 report then you won't get a notification but you'll know you've been reported if you see your karma go down
Click your username in port, it shows a little number attached to it. After years of sporting a "0" it suddenly became a "1" a few months ago, guess i raised my karma by 100% 🤣
Compliments being anonymous makes me compliment the entire team in return. Since I dont know who gave it, might as well giving it back to everyone lol.
This system is strange. I can go up very quickly to +10, then lose all points without being AFK, just sailing with a ship people don’t like such as Valparaiso. Very awkward.
There's a mod in Aslains mod-pack called "Karma Info" (in the port mods section). I haven't used it, but I'm pretty sure it just makes your karma visible on the port header. Perhaps it can show it in-game, as well.
