Hi all! I’ve been getting BIAB nails for years now, but unfortunately the lovely lady who’s been doing them the past while has cut her hours and I cant go to her anymore.
I went to a new (very cheap) salon near me and didnt have a great experience. The usual spots in town (trop pop etc) are charging upward of 60 quid for basic refills these days which I think is crazy!
I know you get what you pay for with these things but if anyone has any recommendations for a decent technician/salon (preferably dublin 1/2/7) I’d be grateful to hear about them.
Mint on Richmond street, Dublin 2 is cheap and cheerful. There are a few Mint salons around but I can really vouch for this one especially.
Might not be ideal location wise but Castle Nails in artane do BIAB for €48 and they’re very good, never any issues
Unrelated question but when you get biab and they grow out are they supposed to just fill in the gap bit? I thought that's what was gonna happen but then she took them off completely and redid them? Only my second time ever getting them done & refilled not sure what to expect?
In my experience they file them down to even out the surface where the biab meets your regrowth, then apply more biab on top

D2 salon! Hogans place, just around from holles street. I get biab here, daughter gets acrylics, and if you splurge get a full pedi, staff are amazing.
