This would be ideal for me! I have signed up in a feminist book club Dublin via meet up. But it was quiet for a while, I recently got notifications that there will be two meetings in Jan and Feb. however they are both online.
Such great ideas! Looks like there is a demand for a South and a North/city book club. Often works well for groups to meet every two months (though I’ve seen monthly and quarterly also). And to meet whether or not one or two people are unavailable in any session (though trying to schedule for maximum availability). Scheduling can be hard! Good number is anywhere from 6 to 12 people (you won’t always get everyone attending). Rotating who chooses the next book often works. Have fun!
I would be interested ! I’m 28 so maybe we could break it into age categories?
I’m in south Dublin but I’d imagine Dublin City Centre would be best for people
I am going to Dublin Romantasy Club! Bi-weekly meetings. 1 is for whatever book you read 2 is for the "book of the month". They don't only read romantasy, but also other (non-romance) fantasy.
If we get enough interest here, we could potentially start one ourselves and meet somewhere central.
I would be interested!
Great idea! I’d love that.
Following with interest. Would love something in South Dublin area!
Me too!
Me three!
Me four!!
Me five
Me six

I’d be interested too, although in North Dublin!
Liekwise! Keep me updated.

I think someone in this thread needs to start the hook club...
That’s for crochet!
I'd be up for that too. :)
