I’m sending a care package to some family with a couple women in their early 20s, so I’m seeking recommendations of American beauty products that are popular or highly sought with you guys there. Thank you in advance!
I always ask for teeth whitening strips from my US relatives! And I think you can get retinol OTC in the US, you cant get that here. Maybe some Neutrogena products too - they only sell a very limited range here.
I believe personal care/medical may be more sought after these days.
Agree re Crest whitening strips.
Would also add Rhode beauty, possibly? It can be got here, but it is definitely not convenient, and you can never swatch prior. I know their lipglosses and stick blushes were quite popular.
Cover girl also isn't available here but wouldn't be able to suggest specific sought-after products.
Sephora is still not in Ireland, so their own brand could be worth looking at for some fun options. Also, sampler packs aren't really common here, which is something I've also thought looked cool while watching videos online.
Burts bees cold sore treatment/patches (or what you know to be the best cold sore treatment)
Tide to go pen.
NyQuil, ZzzQuil, etc.
Melatonin.
A bit more fun of a suggestion - those teeny vaselines (more fun scents aren't available here) /nutrogena wipes.
EOS body lotion isn’t really available here, not that I’ve seen, antibiotic cream, Neutrogena body oil seems to have disappeared off the market here. Owala water bottles are harder to get here as well and more expensive. Melatonin is prescription only.
Yes the shipping wasn’t the problem it was buying from a non EU seller and incurring the hefty customs fees! Thanks for the space nk tip- have you had any issues with customs fees buying from them? it seems to vary massively when buying from the UK whether or not they get applied!
No zero customs issues with space nk! Super fast delivery too, and their customer service is solid so I always opt for them over buying directly. They've a few products on sale currently too.
Crest Whitening Strips? I think people often bring those back from the US when they travel
I’ve seen a few people recommend this but I was worried about offending anyone lol I think I’ll go for it, thank you

Aveeno body oil is brilliant if you're looking for an alternative.
I do like this Aveeno one but I hate the spray bottle on it but I should just decant it at this point.
Thank you! Will be doing the EOS, avoiding the body oil to avoid leakage lol
I couldn’t find a european supplier and had to import Glossier from the US last time i ordered some Futuredew - so maybe some glossier stuff ?
They ship directly to Ireland and are also stocked in space nk (online and in stores)

aaah amazing!!
Thank you!
Genuinely can't think of any, maybe some Korean products?
Thank you
No worries. Also remember that you have to mark it as a gift and keep the value under €150 or they'll have to pay loads in customs fees
Will do, thank you!
