First, I want to thank our now over 6,000 members for joining r/WoWHousing! We've already seen some awesome stuff and I'm excited to see more as the feature is fully launched and optimized.

We will be starting monthly showcase/theme events next month. If you have any suggestions please feel free to reply to this post or send me some mod mail.
In the future, my hope is that we can start up competitions and vote for winners who will then receive prizes like in-game rewards. As of right now, the events will be more geared towards showcase and less competition.
As housing continues to become a WoW staple if you could continue to point your friends and fellow players to the sub that would be very much appreciated. The bigger we grow the more awesome builds we will see and tips/tricks we will spread.

I've been preparing over the weekend getting the mats for a lot of crafting housing items.
Cooking, enchanting, and tailoring items are what I've been prepping since it's the profs I have on my main. In all the expansions. It's been a lot of work.
5 crafts of each. 1 for me and 4 to sell on the AH.
Housing item xp will be important early.
I think rank 5 is where we can get max for early access.
I want to get rank 5 before I really start putting effort into the house design and such.
