  • Hi u/Lenny6709, thanks for posting to r/WindowsHelp! If your post is listed as removed it may still be pending moderation, try to include as much of the following information as possible (in text or in a screenshot) to improve the likelihood of approval:

    • Your Windows and device specifications — You can find them by pressing Win + X then clicking on “System”
    • Any messages and error codes encountered — They're actually not gibberish or anything catastrophic. It may even hint the solution!
    • Previous troubleshooting steps — It might prevent you headaches from getting the same solution that didn't work

As a reminder, we would also like to say that if someone manages to solve your issue, DON'T DELETE YOUR POST! Someone else (in the future) might have the same issue as you, and the received support may also help their case. Good luck, and I hope you have a nice day!

  • Is it new to you ? Did you indeed sign directly into a school account when setting it up ?

  • Ask your school administrator or whoever set up the PC. If that person is you, you should know the username/password for the administrator account on your PC. If you don't, you'll need to use a password reset disk to reset it, and disable Bitlocker before you do if its enabled. If you don't want to mess with password reset disks, or cannot disable Bitlocker (if its enabled), factory wipe the PC and start over because the PC is not technically yours if you don't know the admin password.

To reset your PC just create a bootable USB stick with Windows 11 on it, then boot to it to install Windows. Make sure to delete all partitions on the drive when installing Windows. Start here: Download Windows 11

  • No doubt you purchased it, but is it under the school's management while you're using their network and licenses? If so, can't help you, talk to the school's IT.

If this is a secondhander, you'd be better off with a clean install (also you may not be licensed to continue using a corporate/education build of windows 11). Since you don't have admin privileges, you'll likely need to boot from install media (See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/reinstall-windows-with-the-installation-media-d8369486-3e33-7d9c-dccc-859e2b022fc7 )
