  • He really makes a good point. I have a daughter and so many other amazing women in my life and I need to stick up for them..

I really just been ignoring all the extreme rhetoric, but that’s not gonna do anything and I also don’t want to try and stir up a big pot online so I am just going to help boost women’s rights in my city and state .

I have never felt more vulnerable than I do right now and I’m not even a woman. Imagine how they feel. .

No need to imagine it. We are fucking terrified and pissed off. How dare ANYONE try and take our rights away! I've stopped listening to male musicians cuz I like country music but too much is bro crap. 4B for the rest of my life

I regularly take entire months off from male music and just enjoy music made by literally anyone else. It’s so nice! I also like doing the same thing but I listen to just instrumental music for a month. It can be jarring going back to songs with lyrics 😂

Given my age, I’m a bit slow to get around to new music. Just recently, I heard about and have started listening to Pacifica. I think my favorite, right now, is “Fixer Upper.”

For whatever reason, I feel like they could be a band from Scott Pilgrim.

THATS the spirit!!! Too many people are focused too far out and that can become overwhelming and make us feel powerless. I think that’s gotta be by design. Your true power lies in what you can do for your community. That’s what I keep trying to tell people. It all starts in our communities and radiates outward. You plant a forest one tree at a time.

The community can plant the forest!

Exactly! Thousands of one hand planting a single sapling creates a forest. We need to come together everywhere right now.

    Definitely do so dude.

I’ve done my whole life and it feels amazing. I’m not Bautisa swole but I’m 6’5 and decently muscular.

I’ve been openly supporting women’s rights and LGBTQA+ rights and actively shut down shitty opinions in person since I was in high school. When you’re an imposing figure, someone people see as “manly” or “alpha” (🤮) it really fucks with bigots minds when they see you in solidarity the people they are trying to bully.

Well I can tell you that it suck’s that we still need to depend on men to have our rights and “protect” us. It’s even worded in the question, “ How can men that look like you help women?” Perpetuating the whole idea that we will always need bigger, stronger, males there to save us. I’m glad you finally recognized the vulnerability of human rights, but the fact is that women are not seen as actual humans right now

  • Women's rights are literally just basic human rights. People against women's rights seem to never understand that.

Yes, but some people want to separate off who qualifies as a "people" and see some as "lesser people". Like, 70% of a people who deserve only 70% of those basic rights.

Yea, I call those people pieces of shit.

  • Two quick thoughts...

    On abortion:

    "Here's the thing guys.

    It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter when life begins.

It doesn't matter whether a fetus is a human being or not.

The entire argument is a red herring, a distraction, a subjective and unwinnable argument that could not matter less. It doesn't matter whether we're talking about a fetus, or a baby, or a five year old, or a Nobel Prize winning paediatric oncologist. NOBODY has the right to use your body, against your will, even to save their life or the life of another person.

    That's it.

    That's the argument.

You cannot be forced to donate blood, or marrow, or organs, even though thousands die every year on waiting lists.

They cannot even harvest your organs after your death without your explicit, written, pre-mortem permission.

Denying women the right to an abortion means they have less bodily autonomy than a corpse."

    On sexual harassment/rape:

"She isn’t dressing like a slut, you're thinking like a rapist."

  • Society would be better if every guy got comfortable saying to other guys "what the fuck did you just say?"

However you can be as loud as you want. The US Supreme Court is a broke system. You can't say shit to them. They do not care. If Thomas died right now he would be happy. He has a shithole president to replace him for the next 50 years.

It’s infused that no one is calling Tronald out for his constant misogyny towards female reporters. Why is no one pushing back? I get that they may lose their press pass, but isn’t this whole thing more important than that? CALL THEM OUT.

  • Dave is a real one. I tell people all the time, my daughter has less autonomy over her body then my mother did in the 70s, we are not cool.

  • Out of all the wrestlers and fighters who have made the jump to mainstream acting and entertainment, my two favorites are still Dave Bautista and Danny Trejo.

John Cena also. Please tell me there’s nothing problematic about him.

Other than kissing Xi Jinping's ass?

    No, not really

  • In a world of Nick Fuentes (aka "The Fugly Virgin" aka "Shit King of the Unfuckables", be like Dave Bautista.

  • Dave Bautista really is the man.

He very nearly wasn't, too. He got his big break in wrestling when he joined the group Evolution but that wasn't the original plan. Another guy called Mark Jindrek was meant to have that spot but Triple H thought he was too immature and replaced him.

I often wonder if Mark looks at the success Batista has had and thinks about how different his life could have been.

He had a door opened for him, absolutely. But ultimately it's up to the performer to walk (alone) through it, and as much as Mark Jindrak was a big intimidating guy I don't think he had nearly the same natural charisma. Even with Flair and that fuckin badass entrance theme I don't think Evolution would have been the same without Batista.

Batista really grew into the role too. Evolution played on the Ric Flair lifestyle of fast cars and expensive watches and it really suited Batista.

  • Dave Bautista was raised by a mother who realised she was a lesbian only after divorcing his father, he's always been an advocate for women in general as well as the LGBTQ community. Absolutely a real one.

  • Can he be our President Camacho?

Let’s take a vote. 1. Terry Crews, not a wrestler but played one once. 2. John Cena, retired and needs something to hustle. 3. Dave Bautista, somewhat of a renaissance man. And no, Dwayne is not in this conversation but Mankind could be a write-in.

  • It’s not just that. If more men like him stood up and spoke out, it would maybe make the world a tiny bit safer for us. Like if the bad men knew that other men who maybe looked like them, but weren’t bad couldn’t be counted on to look the other way or take part in victimizing us, it might send a different message.
I doubt it will happen in my lifetime, but it would be really nice to not have to fear men. I would love to see men as I see women, as just a person to talk to. To not have to do, as I did tonight and go get my Chinese food in a dark parking lot with my pepper spray in hand, assessing my surroundings.
I realize not all women have this mindset, but A LOT of us do. And A LOT of us do lots of therapy to work through it, only to be disappointed and revictimized again and again.
Donald Trump has made this disgusting culture acceptable again and it is truly scary for the next generation of young girls growing up. I’m just really grateful for the men in my life who remind me it isn’t the majority and the people who speak out and keep trying to help us, so we don’t regress into the dark ages.

  • That's a real man.

  • It’s unbelievable to me that MAGA women vote the way they do, if it wasn’t for liberals they wouldn’t be able to vote. They don’t understand that if white men could really get rid of the black and brown vote, that they would be next. Crazy!!!

  • I can’t believe we even have to have this conversation (again).

  • THANK YOU DAVE!

This is a problem that is only fixed when Men fix it. There's little to stop guys from acting this way, bc men let it slide. This has to end.

  • He's so good, dang, thank you Bautista - to me you seem to have come out of nowhere and BOOM - right on the right!

  • There's a reason why I think he chews on Rocks and spits them out for being fake.

He eats Rocks and spits out diamonds

  • ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

  • He is a real man.

  • The weakest men, prey on women.

  • text so small, bro really is the man in the back

  • Bautista is a human rights king

  • Can't hear him saying anything. He's got a bigger voice than most with his fame.

  • This is my friends dad and I spent many nights at their house growing up. He used to beat his wife. One of his daughters is strung out and another has a sex tape. He doesn’t even know his grandchildren. He should protect his OWN house.

  • He's right. But, and I'm ready to be hit with the old whataboutism crowd, let's not forget that the average man has a lot of problems too, many not recognized by anyone. Every time mens issues come up, the overall tone I hear from feminists is "well then stand up for them", yet it is expected of us to stand up for women's rights all the time.

LOL tone deaf and out of touch

Not the place bro, read the room.

It's exactly proving my point so idgaf.

You know that pissing and moaning on threads supporting women does nothing to help “the average man” right? You sound like the kind of guy who would remind firefighters that all houses matter when they’re knocking down a blaze.

But to bring that up when talking about women's rights and what women deal with, is tone deaf. It doesn't serve to advance that conversation, it's just a way to STOP the conversation that's already happening. They're both gender issues, but they're still separate issues, and both deserve to be discussed at length, but the time and place to discuss the issues that men face ISN'T when talking about the issues that women face.

  • Actor virtue signals, internet takes the bait.

    Fixed that headline for you.

Don’t use terms you don’t understand. Thank you.

That's.. that's not what virtue signaling is.

No no. Virtue signaling is when anyone is not a total piece of shit. Because everyone is a piece of shit with shitty opinions so anyone advocating for human rights and expressing not shitty opinions must be doing it for clout.
