When I get on a bicycle, start pedaling, heart starts pumping faster, I breathe in some air, and within a few minutes I remember that most of that shit doesn't actually matter.
Stuck in traffic problems. Waiting in line problems. 8 hours staring at a screen sitting in my ergonomic task chair problems. Within minutes of getting on a bicycle, the volume knob on all of these gets turns down almost to zero.
A hobo did that to us while we were working construction. Rammed us on the sidewalk on an electric bike, blindsiding me while I was bent over looking at a bridge lock motor, and jumped off and cussed us out after rolling around like this guy, and then called the cops on us... They gave him a ticket.
