The primary impetus is probably to make people ask, âwho put him there and, more importantly, why?â The secondary is probably to see how many people in the area will freak out and post it on social media. The Clown Masters are watching!
I would also want to know. I would especially want to know that a human places it there. The alternativeâŠ.. And, yes, unfortunately I find that to be entirely possible. I just donât deal with that kind of thing anymore, unless itâs unavoidable.
Yeah, i understand that , it can drive you a bit loopy especially if you are an overthinker , the need to understand everything can be overwhelming if you use it for everything you come across , I let some things go just note oh that's wierd and carry on and I dont feel the impulse to find out
Here items left that close to the street are in the "free zone" for someone that wants/needs/feels an immediate emotional connection to take home for themselves
Actually, as someone of Slovakian descent, seeing this in Australia is so cool! Most people just see a creepy clown, but itâs actually a very old folk tradition called the PĂștnik-Ć aĆĄo. It basically translates to "The Wayfaring Fool".
Honestly, donât feel ignorant for being weirded out lol. Horror movies have basically ruined whatâs actually a very protective and communal gesture. If you see them, just give a little nod or say "DobrĂĄ cesta" (Good journey) and I promise they will be so happy you recognized it instead of just thinking they're being creepy.
If you want to be a legendary neighbor, you could even tie a little piece of colored ribbon or yarn to a fence post nearby. It's a traditional way of saying "I see your blessing."
It was probably just kids that found it or stole it and then relocated it. I donât think it is that deep lol It also looks like itâs a decoration that holds a bowl of candy for trick or treating.
1 foot long spiders? Oh every day. Clowns, not so much.
Give the clown balloons and see if he floats đ
Is your town called Derry? Then you have a big problem.

Hmm, quite random that ! Things like this intrigue me. i need to understand who put him there and, more importantly, why.

Your neighbors are probably observing VeselĂ©-Ticho (the Cheerful Silence). Itâs an old Carpathian pre-Christian thing where you put the "Mirth-Mask" outside to catch the Evil Eye before it can follow someone into the house. By putting it right by the road, theyâre basically cleansing the path for the whole street so no one brings home bad energy from their commute. Itâs meant to be a lightning rod for negativity.

At that angle, the street line almost makes it look like he's peeing.
