Marvel star Jeremy Renner has been hit with shocking accusations of "threatening to call ICE" on his filmmaking collaborator after she allegedly confronted him about his "past misconduct" and demanded he "behave properly."

Chinese film director Yi Zhou, 37, has leveled serious allegations against the Hawkeye actor, 54, in a bombshell series of Instagram posts shared Monday.

The actor, who has been open about what happened to him after a horrifying accident, was brought on board for her documentary Chronicles of Disney and the AI-animated project Stardust Future this year, is alleged to have sent Zhou "unsolicited pornographic images" earlier and that when she challenged him about his conduct, she was left "deeply shocked and frightened" as he allegedly threatened to contact immigration authorities about her.

She further alleged that Jeremy refused to publicly back their collaborative projects and claimed that the duo had a romantic relationship, which he has denied.

"It is with deep regret, sadness, and disappointment that I am compelled to share a truth I have been holding inside for too long," Yi posted, reports the Irish Star.

The revelations emerge as the next 'Alligator Alcatraz'-style immigration facility launches in an unexpected location with a chilling new designation.

"Over the past months, I have lived with fear for my safety and deep distress over the treatment I have endured. No woman, filmmaker, or creative should have to work under such emotional and psychological pressure while trying to protect her name and the integrity of her work. I am making an appeal to my fellow filmmakers, Academy voters, Hollywood peers, executives, and women to stand with me.

"I feel profound despair that a project created to uplift below-the-line artists @chroniclesofdisney and to celebrate the history of one of the world's most beloved companies, Disney, has been damaged by online trolling and by the misconduct of Jeremy Renner. Mr. Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behavior that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before. He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and was open to a long-term relationship. I believed in him, in the power of love, and in the possibility of redemption."

She continued to allege, "When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me. Such behavior is unacceptable and emblematic of the imbalance of power that continues to harm women in our industry."

In a separate Instagram post, Yi alleged that in June she received two photos of Jeremy, "and then a string of unwanted/unsolicited pornographic images of himself" via DM and WhatsApp. She claimed that after having conversations, he allegedly convinced her that he was looking for a relationship.

However, Yi said that she then experienced "the most difficult months" while also managing two different projects which she invited Jeremy to participate in.

She further accused him of initiating a "smear fans campaign" against her. In her post, she wrote, "This is alarming to know in Hollywood we can still act in such a manner. I'm worried for other women who will be victims and might have been victims being used as a sexual object, abused and destroyed in such a manner. Hollywood hides these men and bad behavior for the sake of money, but do we still need to be silent victims in the post Me Too era?".

Yi also provided the Daily Mail with screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations between her and Jeremy, as well as text messages from her worried friends. The filmmaker also claimed that on one occasion, during a meeting about Chronicles of Disney in August, Jeremy got drunk and became so violent that she locked herself in a room.

"I was so scared for my life," she asserted.

The Marvel star faced previous accusations of abusive conduct from his ex-wife, Sonnie Pacheco, who alleged during their 2019 custody dispute over their daughter Ava that Jeremy had threatened to kill her and himself. Earlier this year, he refuted the allegations which he labeled as "clickbait" and said, "It hurts my feelings and it dehumanizes people."

A representative for the actor has since denied the allegations made against him. They told the Mirror US, "The allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue."
