Oh yeah, virtually every place makes quesadillas with flour tortillas. Ive been making them with corn since I was a kid, thought I was the only one lol.
I would take two corn tortillas, put a bunch of cheese (jack, cheddar, whatever--but not Americsn lol) use toothpicks to stich them together, then fry them in oil.
Could never understand flour quesadillas since.
(Oh, should mention, this was pre- microwave days)
Im intrigued, is that a fried corn tortilla?
Yep! Labeled as an “Alambre Quesadilla” with steak, onions, peppers and cheese.
Omg then i forgive the wooden plating. That looks beyond amazing.
It was delicious just very greasy
Thanks for the description. I might make this soon.
Is that uncommon?

Ah yeah, flour is common but these look almost quesabirria style, so I didn't think twice about corn

I think that pyramid of rice is actually slightly more disturbing than a wooden block for a plate. For once.
Was any of it good, at least?
I believe it's actually sour cream!
No such luck here. The pyramid in the top back right corner or the image is rice; you can quite clearly see the grains, even.
There is what does appear to be sour cream in a round dish in front, but it is, in fact, not pyramid shaped. In the slightest. Sorry!
🤭My bad! I was solely talking about the ingredients on the wooden board, as that's what OP was complaining about. 😕🤭
That's considered a plate around here
