-Me 209 II: Failed attempt at replacing the 109, looks like a cross between a 109 and a 190, and performed like it, too. V5 (had guns) was not terrible, but was noticeably slower than the 190D, and turned worse than the 109G. It had 2 13mms and a 30mm, so it would be like a lower tier Ta 152 C-3, probably around 4.0-4.7, given that the Dora is 5.0 and the 109G6 is 4.7. It had a higher TWR and wing loading (meaning higher stall speed, but better high speed performance), although slightly less than the 190A8, and the V5 weighed 139kg more (empty) than the Fw190A8, but had 732lbs less gross weight. However, it was faster than the A8 and G6, according to Wikipedia, which is not the best source… also, it had a lower wing area than the 190

- Me 309: similar to the 209, was meant to replace the 109 but failed. Probably just a side-graded 209, it was 50kmh faster, but had a lower TWR, higher wing loading, and used th same engine (DB603G). It was also heavier (421lbs empty), and had smaller and shorter wings. If the Me 209 was akin to the 109, then this would be its 190-esque counterpart, given that it had 1x 30mm, 4x 13mms, and 2x 20mms, but likely would have flown worse. It could probably also be put around 4.0-4.7 (head-on demon lmao)

- Bf109H: H-0 and H-1 were built and flown minimally until being retired due to wing flutter issues. Similar to a 109, but it had much longer wings (like a Ta 152 H compared to the C). H-0 was built off the 109F4, with a DB601E (with GM-1 boost), whereas the H-1 was made from the 109G5, and had a DB605A, also with GM-1 (stronger of the two). Wingspan length ranges from 2 to 3.5m beyond the 9.9m of the 109G. It would be akin to the 109T, having a lower stall speed due to the higher wing aspect ratio, and it probably does other stuff but I’m no aerospace engineer 😭

- Bf109X: 109 with a BMW 803A-0, had a decent amount (1600) of HP (more than it’s sister plane, which tested the American P&W R-1830, which had 1200hp). Otherwise identical in terms of airframe, except a bubble canopy replaced the regular one. Also not too sure where it would fit due to the obscurity of the plane, but around 4.7 would make sense, given the G-6 has 1260hp, and 1766 with WEP. However, I’m struggling to find any official reports on the 109X, so I’m curious how Gaijin would implement it.

- Bf109G-6/U2 (gets GM-1 boost) - looks like a G-6, but gets GM-1 engine boost (German WEP). Honestly might not be needed, given that German planes already have GM-1, but maybe I’m wrong and this thing could fit at 5.0 as an upgraded 109G-6, which is a gap in BR for the 109s. It could also be foldered, which I think is fair given its similarity to the 109G-6.

- Bf109T-1 (we have T-2), would be great if it was put in the tech tree (T-2 is prem). Almost identical to the T-2, except this one still has the tail hook and launching gear, meaning it could land on carriers, because its design was meant to work on the Graf Zeppelin. It would fit at 3.0 with the 109T-2.

- Bf109D-1, swiss 109, why not? It could probably fit at 1.7, foldered with the C-1. It had 661hp engine, which was 59hp less than the Jumo 210G used on the Bf109C, meaning it was otherwise identical to the C-1, which would make it pretty much useless unless Gaijin plans on putting the C-1 at 2.0 😂

- Drop tanks (after 109E-7, so in WT, the G-2/trop), could be good for sim, especially for the K-4 due to the higher fuel consumption compared to other 109s

What ideas do yall have? (Good or bad, I just like new vehicles)

Also, is the 109Z worth buying (when on sale) if I like 109s? Some people say it’s amazing, and others say it’s horrible…

Wonder how many “holy yaps” I’ll get (mods took down my old post cause I didn’t do enough explaining 😭)
