The issue really is how inconsistent WT is. When you hit a Gepard, Itspv Leopard, and co. They get disabled from firing. Due to modules and how they knock out that ability. This one? Eats 4 heat and still fires with only the vertical/horizontal gone it seems.
Well what do you mean by "inconsistent"? The XM246 is more resistant to losing its FCS compared to Gepard, Marksman etc. because it puts the guns in front of it while the other SPAAs put the guns on the side. That does make it less likely to hit the FCS but it's just a natural consequence of the damage model, which seems pretty consistent to me.

Shooting Upper frontal plate of m60? - yeeees

At what point it "doesn't matter where you shoot the tank" in WT ?..
4 shells at the same spot without any noticeable affect? Try next time to throw 5 of those heat shels in the track. Maybe the tank will be destroyed by being shoot 5 times at the same spot, not 4
